This is absolute insanity, I hope you know that!
Where I'm from this would have set you back at least 300$ plus another 20$ in gas. With the current price for electricity I'm having a hard time growing it myself for that price.

Shopped online, as usual, and rode 30 miles across gorgeous countryside early this morning (while still cool) to get this ounce of Do-Si-Do for ~$45 OTD. It's supposedly indica dominant but it has a pungent-sweet terpene lineup, like a mixture of fruits.
How's it been? I've had live resin from Do Si Do (It wasn't bad), but never flower.

Glad you asked. My brain was instantly drawn to the unusual aroma. It seems like any strain with a lot of terpenes is sweet these days and the Do-Si-Do low temp fruity/floral terp hit is sweeter than most.
Oddly, both of the parent strains, Face Off OG and Girl Scout Cookies were both derived from the same two strains, Durban Poison and Kush OG. OGKB was supposedly derived from Girl Scout Cookies.
It's great as a standalone, but I'm gonna mix it into my frankenstein blend anyway. It'll compliment my existing inventory in terms of terpenes. This might be hard to believe but I can taste each of the four or five strains currently in the blend. The blend changes when I add strains every few weeks, but the wide spectrum of terpenes is always calling my name...

Okay, I bought two different strains yesterday. Finally opened and tested the second one today. An ounce of Skywalker was only $54 OTD. Bought it partly on impulse, might have been a mistake. It supposedly has only 21% THC and 2% terpenes, but it has an unusual fresh smell, due to another odd terpene profile, which should compliment my blend.
That's it. Not buying anymore. Should have enough for a year or two. Cutting the $200 medical license in two....... Hoping recreational is approved within a year.

Picked up a gram of some Triangle Kush live resin. They call it caviar cause the consistency is grainy with little crystals in a jelly-like sauce. Very nice, mellow high with a fruity taste. One day I'll learn to safely post up pictures.
I also made tincture with some Grape Pie shatter and everclear. I dose about 20mg every night before bed. Sometimes I just squirt the 5-6ml in my mouth, and sometimes I'll squirt it into a piece of cake or cookie and let some of the alcohol evaporate out. So much easier for me than making edibles.

I hung another one this week!
(technically it's not yet in my vape but will be soon enough! But it looked so good pre-harvest i couldn't resist posting some pics already, will follow up when dry and actually vape-ready! )
CRYSTAL CANDY A.F. (61 days from seed to scissors)

July 16 (started flushing: aiming for 1 week without (organic) ferts. Natural flavour and purity = primary aim!)
July 22:
July 24: (Harvest time!)
Not that much difference (size-wise) on sight maybe but buds getting more dense and sticky while riping.
Gaining weight rather than volume at this point.
The scent is awesome!
Oooh, how i love the smell of fresh bud in the evening (all day tbh)!!
I buzz from plant to plant like a bee, sniffing bud after bud!
Comparing strains, trying to analyse aroma's, identifying plants nose-only!
Must stop smelling timely,
not to loose myself in a sniffing spree...
or forever known as 'The Infamous Budsniffer' i will be.
(That's how dogs must feel when they sniff butts and such i guess?)

Posted pics when I purchased two bargain strains a couple of weeks back. The Do-Si-Do is supposedly 80% sativa, the Skywalker is indica. Both strains are extra-terpy and in the $50/oz range. Added both to my "blend", taste great but will be adding a strong sativa in a few days just to balance it out.....

EDIT: UPDATE
It was a high quality bowl.... very excellent. It gave big clouds even w/ low temp 320 F vaping. I spread out the low temp draws over a three separate sessions and temp stepped finished the bowl at a higher temp... loved the f/x for ~5.5 hrs. Super impressed
Then I decided to vape that second bowl. Went with Sour Amnesia, another strong 80% est. sativa lol. Highly recommend both strains. HAF . & feeling great.
Not much left...

It is a great balmy winter day, perhaps near 60 (14-15) degrees as I look out over the calm waters of Rio de la Plata.
Across the bay, at the far end of the sweep of the playa (beach) I can see a white and red big top and the white peaked little tent tops.
El Circo Latino (the Latin circus) has been there all of July. It sprang up unseen (by me) and I expect to wake one morning to find that the circus decamped overnight. At night the tent shapes are outlined by bright, sparkling, blinking, twinkling dancing lights, also white.
What was I saying? Damn this all makes me want to vape some White Widow.
Perhaps later after I vacuum up the gram or so of mixed-moto I dropped on the floor.
BTW, these words today are brought to you via a strain named Paradise Circus.
Paradise Circus is said to be "an evenly balanced hybrid strain created through a cross of the powerful Tropicana Cookies X Tina strains."
his bud has a super sour and earthy orange citrus flavor with a lightly gassy exhale.

That colorIncredible Bulk rosin, a little higher temp, but a lot lower pressure and time=nice flavours that I must have usually boiled off and the rosin did not dry out overnight,
Slightly lower than usual yield of 16% as these buds are usually 18% average.

I pulled out another 1/4 oz of Tropicana Cookies and added it into the blend. This purplish strain has a very pungent fruity smell. Your fingers smell like oranges and grapes for an hour after you handle it, probably because of the heavy valencene.
Bought it because it was on sale at $37.5/oz (I'm a tightwad
), it has exceptional test data (probably for the class A buds, but still) supposedly 80% sativa 33% THC 2.5% terps, and most importantly the smell was very intense. However my first vape impression was that all the different flavors kinda ran together when heat was applied. Plenty strong, kinda dank or diesel flavor. Gradually appreciating it more and more after 3-4 bowls. It's rank, but also strong, just takes me a few days to appreciate it.
