Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

Thick Vape

In the Ballpark
I did not miss the carb cap with my B1 yet, but I put a layer of rubies on top anyways (it looks so much nicer than the bare screen) so the carb cap won't fit anymore. But I would try it if I had one.

The B1 has some differences to the B0:
It is a bit a more equilibrated/slower system as it has more mass.
It looks nicer.
The carb cap won't fit a B0.
The stand gets hotter with the B0 than the stand with the B1 on top. I wish I could measure the correct current usage.
The handle of the B1 is really wonderful. I miss it on the B0.
The B0 is a little fatter than the B1 injector. I have an elev8r bowl that fits the B1 fine and the B0 gets stuck a little ((2mm or so) before it is completely in the bowl.
It is not an issue as I have a bowl that fits the B0 perfectly too, just a difference.

I love them both.

Thinking of jumping the gun on the B2, a curved adapter and a carb cap. Coming from the Vrod... I was just wondering if someone could tell me how much the upgrade is worth it? It seems it's easier to find the sweet spot with the B2 rather than the B1 from what I've heard and I've been wanting a Sapphire Dish for a very long time.

I apologise for not posting here very much (life has got in the way) but can anyone tell me how much of an improvement it is exactly? The balls really do make it easier to clear the bowl? What about cleaning those things? Do they get gooey when running dabs through the dish? How about dry herb?

Thanks

I loved the vrod but was not convinced by the B2 that have, like I said few post before, a too much thight airflow. The temperature spot is slower compare to the other heads, but you can't change a lot the speed of your draw. The heat exchange is also very different than the vrod. I find the temperature tend to increased more than with the vrod during the hit. Taste is better with rubbish balls, I found.
But I used it only with plant, not with concentrates and I used concentrates only once with vrod.

I thought it wAs a great upgrade. The original B2 without screens in the bottom could get a bit tight a far as airflow, esp with 3mm balls. But after the move to screen bottoms less of an issue.

IME, B2 is maybe the hardest hitter out there. Not sure how to quantify how much of an improvement. But it should be telling that it was big enough for CH to become ball-only for Flowerpot line.

Wich screen you are talking about ? The one at the level of the dish or you change the screen that maintain the balls ?

In any way, with a B1 kit and a vrod, you could built and taste all the options, unless the injector that need an other part.

That is exactly why I bought it - form factor. I have kids who can start to have questions, and this thing is easy to take out and put away, especially with the cut-out case. It may not have the flavor of the Herborizer, but it hits harder and gets me to the moon quickly, and I'll take that trade-off any day. Don't get me wrong, I still love my Herborizer, but when I want to get super duper high, I look to the FPP.
Exactly what made me pull the trigger on the FPP.

yeah just had to add.. I got started in this whole FC world just this year and the FPP was like the third device I bought... I've since bought like 4 other setups but my most used bar none is the FPP.

My wife bought me a classy looking gold/mirrored bar cart and I just leave it plugged in all the time and keep it on during the day. I probably use it more than all my other stuff combined and my collection is like 50/50 portable vs desktop.

Anyway, just another +1 as a really happy customer. I appreciate it more every day.

Yeah, my Vrod has been my preferred method of home consumption singe the day it arrived a little over a couple years ago.

I don't believe that there will ever be a cure for VAS, but it was certainly a strong VAS transmitter inhibitor

Hey thanks for the reply man. I didn't hear back from enough people in time before the 710 sale was over so getting this will have to wait. I really appreciate the reply.

It will have to wait til BF now unfortunately.

I have an elev8r bowl that fits the B1 fine and the B0 gets stuck a little ((2mm or so) before it is completely in the bowl.
I just purchased the B0 at the 7/10 sale and also used it with the elev8r bowl from a kit I purchased maybe 3 years ago. I was actually amazed how well it fit in the bowl, mine does not get stuck at all and has a tighter fit than most other combos I have tried, I was thinking of writing a post just about that. So either the elev8r bowl changed over time or the B0 injector did.
I also picked up a new 20mm CH coil at the sale and can finally confirm that is indeed different from the one I bought 2 years ago, the newer one does fit the Qaroma, the older one does not. Vape manufacturers seem to change the dimensions of their coils or bowls slightly over time which is a bummer when you mix and match across manufacturers like many of us do.

There is two elev8r bowl : one with metal screen and the second one with glass screen. I have the one with glass screen and I think that is the best bowl for the moment. Not perfect and expensive, but work nice with my B1 injector.
The new coil is a little bit different, but I don't know if it is because retailer bend it a little bit in order it fit better with B1/ B0 head. My old coil is a little bit floppy in the B1 head and not the new one.

665 baby! :D push that envelope!

I've been running at 666F most of the time for a while.
The number just makes me feel happy

Though, I sometimes run it anywhere between 580 and 640 when I'm in the mood for a longer, more drawn out session.

When I get below 580F, I sometimes want to use the carb cap, and I hate using the carb cap with flower only.

***edit***
I just ordered Ed's TNT Cocobolo handle for my Vrod coil, and two of his shorter cocobolo handles for both my shovelhead and my carb cap. I'm soooo looking forward to this upgrade 😁

I'm quite happy with myself right now!

Hey I've not been around here much, but lots has changed since I bought my Vrod which I have been really enjoying!

I'm keen to try out some of the new baller type arrangements and looking to upgrade a few parts - but there's lots of combinations to choose from!

I was looking to buy a B2 complete B2 head but noticed I could just go for a B2 nut, screen diffuser, 4mm ruby balls and titanium screen which is essentially the B2 head assembly minus the 'dab top' part that covers the coil - and the titanium dish which I already have.

Is there any benefit to the new dab top part 3129 over reusing the old Vrod part?

Would it be worth looking at the injector head assembly and something like the Elev8r glass bowls instead?

Wondered if anyone here has been down this path before.... it's been amazing but a little bewildering to see the progress that has been made

Do it. Balls are life-changing.
I think 3mm hit better than 4 in the b2, but either will be a huge upgrade.

I don't know the difference between new 3129 part, but I know my upper part is still the old v-rod part - so you'll be good just adding the balls and the screened lower, and nut

Thanks for letting me know it will work, I have gone ahead and ordered the parts with some 3mm balls instead

I went with the screen diffuser instead of the injector head because it looked like I would need a new part for the stand along with a glass bowl, I might try that later on but then again the sapphire dish will probably be my next upgrade.

I've had the Vrod nearly 4 years and although it wasn't necessary to upgrade it, its really nice to see that it can be upgraded.
