AirVape Legacy Pro

Ordered the Pro yesterday and got and estimated time of delivery is Monday.. if that’s true, that’s some insane shipping process they have. :)
I got mine delivered in 2 days as well (after shipping, took 3 weeks after the preorder drop) coming from LA to the east coast! Same thing with my WPA/WP. Just got delivered! Will be testing later and prob reporting back tomorrow

Also, I tested out the concentrate pad with some Chemdawg #4 Live Rosin and Mann it’s sooo smooth. Got nice and medicated. Really good for making a session out of it although I do prefer my temps at 482. I believe the heater could keep up. (I noticed I get better hits when drawing really fast which leads me to believe this, will know for sure after testing the WPA here shortly) Wish they would do a firmware update allowing us to go to 500.

Wish someone in the vape space would do a device allowing the user to update the firmware. In the long run it’d be cheaper than having you send in the device for updating.
In theory, they could make it possible. All we’d have to do is plug the USB-C in and link to your computer.

Well guys, the WPA is just meh. It’s not that the PRO can’t handle the airflow. (It can) it’ll produce the same clouds I can get on the TinyMight with WPA…BUT the WPA itself is wonky. Instead of being a direct mouthpiece replacement, it comes with a rubber gasket that fits over the mouthpiece. Now, I can hold the WPA and let the Pro hang in the air and it won’t fall out. BUT, from side to side it’s soooo easy for the mouthpiece to pop out of the PRO. I have to hold it very carefully the whole time I’m using it and it’s sketchy. Also, the TM really shines here in comparison where it stays solid in the WP with the button moved to the top. IMO, I’d choose the PRO over the TinyMight in any situation EXCEPT through the WPA. TinyMight is still king here until Airvape fixes the mouthpiece issue.

Very very bold statement based on your experiences. I’m keeping my hopes up for the same. My unit is supposed to come in tomorrow. I have both, the TM and P80 def going to put this Pro to the test.

Awesome! I’ve been hoping someone else with both a TM and Pro would chime in soon. Looking forward to hear how your experience compares with mine!

I’m also thinking that session mode would be preferable on the Pro in WPA considering the button placement. The wonky mouthpiece issue really makes it a no go though imo. I think I may have found the portable vape trifecta here though. I’ve got the TM as a dedicated WP vape, the Pro for on the go and just chillin, and my Peak Pro for concentrates. My VAS has been completely cured!

John you were correct when saying the Pro is head n shoulders Above the OG !!!
Im in no way an engineer, but, damn there was some brain scratchin' going on when the Pro was born.(Im sure all the customers SUGGESTIONS were considered) This is what the OG was born to be. As far as the WPA...ppfff, seems the PRO, IMO, Dosent Need it !
When it comes to Modes, 10 minute Session Mode, I bounce from 340° to 420° depending on variables.
Only 2 bowls so far, but, alls TOP SHELF !

Now, what do I do with the OG...?...Gonna have to get a Bigger "rarely used box" !

I don’t see the need for a WPA either. This thing does a fantastic job cooling the vapor. Crazy for such a small air path too.
You guys are absolutely correct. Forgot to mention that even though the clouds are the same as the TM. It’s noticeably much cooler vapor!

Edit: Also, read somewhere that it doesn’t have pass through charging which is false. Mine will let you use pass through even if on a wireless charging pad.

Hellyeah! Thoughts on how it rips vs TM?
So far it’s so smooth it’s like an Ondemand Mighty… I might get hate for that lol.

So far in Ondemand mode I’m getting thick flavorful clouds at 410 w/o combustion. Even avb, I tend to break my bud in there with my hands so it’s not a full chamber but allows me to tap the Pro around to “stir” the bowl. It’s a very unique approach to this hybrid Ondemand heating they have..the unit is very fancy looking, some shit you bust out at a black tie event.

I was interested until you said that...plastic maintenance monster POS with flavour only a smoker would call fantastic. :2c:
Got mine about noon. Have put 5-6 bowls of flower and a pad with Oil & Wax thru it. I sure dont see it being a "Maintenance Problem" !! Like anything thats Detailed and Works, Requires Attention from time to time. So far, even after a days use, you can Hardly tell it !
On another note, Ive seen it called "hybrid"....I put it thru a 5 min Session at 380°F(empty bowl)...at 4.30 min the highest heatgun temp on the Empty bowl and surrounding area, the Highest temp I could register was 250° and that was towards the oblong screen hole, dosent seem to be Cooking the material as a Hybrid or conduction unit would.
As you can tell, I LIKE IT !!

Tell me more about the battery and battery life. Batteries can make or break a device.
I got it at 4:40 pm, it was at 9:50pm, when I needed a recharge. It was about 25% til dead. Used my iPad wireless charging pad lol. I was using it about 3-4 hits in Ondemand between 400-425. This vape surprises me by how well it conserves the flower when you see the amount of vapor your exhale. Also the quality of your flower will def make a difference. I have found with some strains the vapor thins much quicker than others. I haven’t had this vape for more than 24hrs so once the honey moon phase wears off, I’ll give a proper review.

Well, after using the Legacy Pro for awhile, success!! It has become my daily driver. I’ve tried it on session and on-demand modes and have been pleasantly surprised. I still love my Healthy Rips Rogue. That thing is a monster, with dry or with WPA. I haven’t tried the Legacy with a WPA. But, it is so smooth….forget the WPA. The temperature is a bit on the high side, so a little adjustment to what temperatures I use. I start at 290F and work it up to 350F and end it at 375F. That is the only problem I have with it. Also, it would be really nice of AirVape to create a decent funnel for loading. That is an ongoing problem with the Legacy line. It gets rather messy loading a bowl. But, what a bowl!! Plenty of space and very secure. No more vapor leaks!! Namaste✌️❤️

I find myself constantly open the door to check on the bowl to see how well the Pro extracts the herb… this is probably one of the most efficient vapes when comparing the amount of vapor you exhale to the status of your herb.

Edit*
Tried it on 430… yup hits like a TM and maybe just a little more potent? Just tiny tad tad bit more potent. I’ve notice that on 430 I’m in “wax mode” oops! Lol

Hello there fuck combustion!

I doubt any of you will remember my username, I've been actively lurking daily but I think my last post was probably close to a year ago when I bought my tiny might.

Now I love the vapor production on this thing… but to be honest, its fragility and sometimes difficulty of use has really got me to the point where I don't like taking it around with me anymore, it's become something that lives at home, which is quite disappointing to me because I bought it for the exact opposite reason.

Now I always would've thought it sacrilege, but I am hearing a lot of people saying that the Legacy pro can actually replace the tiny might?

I know a lot of people are still getting their is in and impressions are pretty short at this point, but is that true?

If this thing can actually go head to head with the tiny might as far as vapor production and flavor extraction, I feel like this would be a no-brainer for me to buy right now.

... But for years even with its flaws, the tm has been considered the de facto powerhouse handheld. Is the Legacy pro really the device to dethrone it? I'm not going to lie, I do want to be, it just look so sexy!
