@someTooL and @DennisFlonasal maybe the ones that shipped that day are still sitting in a bin at the canadian post office waiting to get scanned in. I dont get much from canada so i am not used to their mode especially during this pandemic time. I hardly see this type of thing here in the US but it does happen rarely. if you or anyone else in this same boat get yours or an update to the tracking please follow up here, and i will as well.

Only a couple items from Canada myself. From memory believe it was around 2 weeks. Scan could have been missed at drop. But normally the scan will update at next stop and when given to USPS. USPS tracking gives the same information…shipping label created.

i finally got an update to the tracking. canada post states deliver Apr 4th. but at least its a first scan after label creation last thursday. I cant say for sure but it sure seems like they were actually dropped off today and not last week but no matter. progress is good. i will follow up when it arrives to hopefully help others.

“Electronic information submitted by shipper” means Vestratto notified Canada Post to pick up the parcel, doing all that they can to get the Anvil in your hands as quickly as possible. John has ZERO control as to when they actually do that. John has ZERO control when it's picked up if it sits in a trailer in some CP parking depot for a week or more waiting to be moved. John also has ZERO control over if the parcel gets scanned and the scan is registered in the tracked shipping web page.
Canada Post's service has gone straight down hill since Covid caused a glut of parcels to flood the system, a system not designed to accommodate it. A close friend who's a Post Master for our district says CP hasn't raised their budget for extra infrastructure or man power to solve this f#cked situation. Hard to fathom that two weeks plus is the new normal to receive a parcel only sent across four Provinces, but it is.
Rant as much as you like in this or other Forums, but its not going to change anything. John will still have ZERO control in these matters.

I quoted your post specifically to explain what the “Electronic information submitted by shipper” meant and the current CP situation to forum members. I ordered on March 14th. Canada Post finally has an estimated delivery date of April 4th. Three weeks is a surprisingly long shipping estimate, especially considering the price. I've ordered many things from Canada, Italy, Finland, Germany, France, China, etc. This is on the very long side. Vestratto should probably consider another carrier for international shipping, especially at the price I paid.

So mine arrived today. Tracking was originally set for the 24th. Tracking info was never updated after it was "processed" in Ontario (March 17th). Suddenly got a notification that it was processed at my local post office early this morning and delivered a few hours later.

I guess the waitlist isn't progressing in chronological order. I've definitely not missed an email and have been regularly checking spam.I received my email yesterday and I was added to the list on the 12th of Feb. There was less than 1 week between the emails sent to people who were on the 10th of Jan ti me on the 12th of Feb so depending on when you got added it may not be that long to wait

Uhh we paid like 20+$ for shipping lol. It's not like it was cheap. That's about standard if anything.
Also for anyone else, mine says Apr 4th too, but when I track it through the parcel app, it says 23-26. Not sure what's going on there.
$20 sounds about right for Canada Post i think thats their expedited service average costs, thats not too bad....ive seen $40 shipping from a company the the US and i was like whaaaaa $40 shipping for a banger

Stupid ass logistics that favour Americans. The shipping cost on this unit was equal to expedited shipping here in Canada, which is a 3 day National guarantee. I'm looking at over 2 weeks delivery time when people who paid a day before me in fuckin' Alabama are already receiving theirs? What a joke.
