This is true but I find IME denser material will just prepress less. I ultimately can fit 7gs in the bag whether it’s super dense (possibly pgr) or an airy sativa, the sativa just needs a bit more prepressing to get to the same volume and the denser draw just needs more delicate Tetris-ing so it fills the whole bag
It's more about fitting between the plates then fitting the bag. The bags are pretty modular, but the gap between the plates is quite narrow on my Dabpresses when doing bottle tech. A good reason to press hash

I would say you are using a 30mm pre-press and 40mm bags to have this problem as I have to use a plastic card to guide/slip my puck into the bag.
I would not be able to fit a 10g bottle tech puck between my plates if I did not pre-press.

a very tight prepress blew out much earlier on me than a looser press of the same amount and kind of material. Maybe there is something to this too?
And i begin to cut off the bottom of the bags to just use tubes for the 5g bottle tech presses I do. Seems also to blow out less.

Hi! Almost 2 months since you got your press. How are you liking it so far?Well, my press arrived yesterday, 12 days from ordering, Germany to UK, I think that's pretty good. To get to know the machine I pressed 2 8ths of larfy popcorn, blue cheese and grapefruit diesel. I got very little yield and it was quite sappy and dark, but I want expecting anything special. The grapefruit has been around for a couple of years and it's a firm favourite of mine in terms of flavour. I've had it as flower, BHO, and hair straightener rosin, but yesterday's dabs were the most delicious yet.
So this morning it was time for some serious fun! I pre heated the press and prepared a quarter each of zkittlez, do si dos, and alien gorilla.
I make a puck in my dulytek pre press, sort the bottom corners of the bag, place the puck in the filter, cut off excess and fold in the top.
First up, zkittlez. Press set to 80c I heatsoak the puck, then slowly increase pressure up to a Max of about 3k psi indicated. I get back 1.48g from one press. No blow out

Next up is the do si dos. I went a bit harder and a bit faster with this one. It's the oldest of the three, and the least photogenic! I got 1.14g from one press, a small blowout.

And finally the alien gorilla. I think this one needs a bit more temp as it didn't seem to flow. I yielded the least at 0.68g but I know there's more in there! Many large blowouts lol.

Cinderella 99 live rosin.
Frozen on cropping. This one is from the 73 micron bag, first wash.
Then pressed in 25 bag on low temp.
As close to full melt as I can get. Wonderful floral notes, smooth and strong. Room smells on opening.
Made this way back in January and was keeping 3 g till my mate came over this month. He has had to cancel so this is helping me drown my sorrows so to speak.

Beautiful colour .... I pressed some orange punch auto, 90 m at 85c, 15%. Much darker and lower yield than yours. Wonderful tangerine hit that makes up for poor yield but your colour is fantastic!Orange daiquiri. 90micron, 179.9f on the plates. Around 19.5% yield. Came out a bit darker than I’d like but tastes like orange flavoured cookies

Too quiet on here 
Colder weather is the best time for bubble etc and with a mate over keen to watch an idiot bumble through the process I was happy to oblige.
C99 and bx2 psychosis had slow dried but no cure.
Made the bubble with no mishaps.
Having dried I pressed it this afternoon through 25m bags.
Both are from 1st and 2nd wash from the 90 and 75 bags combined, pressed at 80c for 90 secs.
Peeling the bx2 off:
End result.
Cinderella 99 on left.
Bx2 psychosis on the right.
Nice taste.
Must admit I think I prefer live.

Not sure how many I’ve forgotten to post about but:

The various stages it went through from out the freezer, to coming out the fridge the next day to post-whip
And some 3x filtered ogkz dry sift hash pressed through double 37u bags at 155 on the controller. First press came out at around 50%

What size screen are you using to make dry sift?
I use a tumbler with a 145 micron screen. I never got a 50% return making hash rosin. Bubble hash yes, tumbler hash no.

Pressed 20 th October 2020. So just over a year old.
No discernible deterioration of anything as far as I'm concerned. But I don't have a recent press to compare to as I didn't carry this one on.
Still have another 4 g of this in freezer.

That looks wonderful, i have the same experience with long term storage, even in the fridge i feel like it stays pretty much the same as when it went in, given that its stored in a good container or a air sealed plastic bag atleast!
