I use 11.2V/10.2V and 11.3V/10.3V on my OAB and VB when I turn it on and then what it drops too when heat soaked. From the day it arrived, my VB has been my COVID companion, same with the OAB which was ordered a few months later. My OAB is in the spot light right now, that's been my main vape since I pull it out on the weekend. I need a good art edition someday maybe with a finish like yours @weedemon that's absolutely gorgeous!

Not mine, but figured it belongs here as well. Credits and congrats to /u/psygoa23

They look so good! On another note, my package has cleared German customs, the ETA was saying Monday at some point today but has moved back to Thursday! Let's hope for the best <3

Well I always remove the ball to fully clear each hit bc I am ocd like that, and it seems I was not alone because that's what led them to stop including a carb hole on the bandit design... So yeah I keep mine plugged all the time and keep the ball removed unless I am in the middle of hitting it or about to!
I tried that, leaving the ball on. Well the ball got extremely hot and the herb chard on its own. My Bandit doesn't have a carb hole. Actually getting excellent vapor now, just using my thumb to cover the carb hole. The vapor is cooler and lighter that the vapor from the Bandit. The Bandit vapor is a little warmer and little more heavier. Like a red wine. I do slower hits though at 10.4 on both vapes.

i paid extra for a customization on mine and had no carb made! :)

i head a stopper is a great way to plug the carb however!

here are some close up shots i took of the glaze! https://www.instagram.com/p/COO_XapBg5r/
Damn I wish I knew that. I might have asked to plug the hole. Oh well, the carb hole is cool looking. Yours looks great. I like that cracked glaze. I am impressed by that. The pictures on AOV side didn't do it justice.

They never do! So hard to capture the beauty of these glazes in pics.

You're saying the herb was cooked by just sitting in the oven ball without drawing?? That would be very surprising - have not heard of that happening!

Also, an earplug can be used as a cheap carb plug. Vgoodiez has the SB Maxx jar corks which also fit perfectly.

Well not charred, but more or less dried out.

Are carb holes on on all of them?. I'm still waiting for their credit card processor to work. My order is for Bernd....Does that guy have a carb hole?.

The standard vapbong aromatizer all still and will have the carb hole unless a custom order without... So yes Bernd has the hole, sorry that you have not been able to pay for him so they can finally ship him out to you!

I remember carb holes being on bongs back when I smoked in the late 80's and early 90s. Never liked that set up. Bongs and pipes were from long trips to a head shop in CT called "Old Glory". They had everything you could have wanted back then.

Yes supposedly it is very common in Germany, but I was very vocal about how much of an inconvenience it was for me here! Fortunately they are easy to plug or cover, but I am excited for my new bandit without the hole to arrive!

Been experimenting using hemp CBD from Cascadia Blooms to keep vaping without bugging
out! Looks like 10.8 is my sweet spot that matches my draw rate. I can vary the draw from slow
and long, to fast and short to get different effects and ABV .
How often do you folks clean your bowls? My downstream gets sticky with dust pretty fast.
Vape signature is very unique with the open air flow, ceramics, internal water tool, and powerful
heating element. Flavor is on par or superior to the best of my vapes, and the hits have proven
to be very potent. I just took a long slow pull on a micro hit of Grape Skunk and haven't been back
for over 40 min. The clouds DO seem to be a waste, but it is hard to hold them in.
This could possibly be an actual VAS eliminator if there is such a thing!

I wipe my bowl out while hot with a square of toilet tissue. I clean it with iso when I need to change my screen. Every night that I use it, I dump the water out and pour hot water through it. Pouring in the down spout seems to get most of the scoobs. Then you can use an old toothbrush to get anything else remaining. Dump and flush again with hot water. Again I'll iso swish after 3 oz or so.

My Obsidian has landed safely, right on schedule after all. And it's gorgeous... 😍

That glaze looks good in the picture but it's even better in person if my obsidian OAB has anything to say. I really like the depth of the glaze that you can't see in pictures. Video's show it off a little but it's best in person.

So nice to see new arrivals, I really love this VAPE (yeah I said it haha) and the company behind it. A custom is in my future one of these days.

Mine arrived today (true to the UPS estimate who would have thought?) intact and glorious!

PXL-20210429-234050687.jpg

^since I was able to keep the dish from the first broken one, I requested dish with the replacement to be in coral puff glaze (fortunately they had a tiny bit left) and photos can never do it justice!

PXL-20210429-234419028.jpg

^the grey glass pebble beads melted differently this time, broke through with more bursts of purple like the tahiti grape name implies! This also changes the texture in some places, it is less smooth gloss there, but I just love it all over!

PXL-20210429-235014256.jpg

^bottom not glazed, a bit more manageable for them, signed in marker instead of glaze...

All around the fit and finish build quality is just phenomenal, all the unglazed ceramic is super smooth clean white, all the glaze is super even thick coat good color and clear, the clay in the ball bowl is all perfect and smooth too... Seems like the bowl is actually a bit deeper and thus larger capacity while the mesh screen is much higher quality than my earlier collylanders (though yeah no spares included)

And in a final twist, apparently it is the new bandit style with the heater across from the mouthpiece after all (someone had said they were told the past pre-orders would ship out as what they were back then, and that this design would not pop up until the next round, but either way I don't mind and this gives me even more justification to keep my original plum jelly bandit!)

Reminder that I semi custom with my mouthpiece a little longer on this one, like 1.5 inches so just a slight ergonomic difference (the broken one had the mouthpiece narrower as well, so I was able to have them correct that for this one and the mouthpiece is perfect for me I think... We shall see, I'll obviously be back after first use!

Also had to order another new Rogue Wax Works tool when I saw the colors and shape of this one, fortunately it is also a tip I did not have yet (well not exactly, slight differences, I have so many of these tools now lol) If you have one of these vapes without one of these tools, I suggest rectifying that right away!

Alright this table is getting a little crowded:

I love that color, and it totally fits with the table!

I like the looks of the heater across in lieu of offset, but am wondering about it in use, can't wait to hear your thoughts. Pulling the nut off to the right just feels natural to me.

Thanks! Yeah I really liked seeing that monsoon one recently, but I'm still satisfied with my choice here, love cool colors!

Yeah I just had my first hits, 10.5v without any water, some fresh sundae driver herbs, fantastic performance! However absolutely less ergonomic, having to pull the bowl towards myself with the mouthpiece there... I was using both hands instead of just my right like I normally would, which almost defeats the purpose of getting rid of the hole for better one-handed use lol I'm not mad at it though, just going to take some getting used to, I'll find something that works best for me... Again having more justification to keep both my Woodland Fantasy standard, my original Plum Jelly bandit, and this new Tahiti Grape is a little freeing for me haha
