TinyMight / TM 2

Want to share a thought: I'm in the same position as @Bad Dog. I want the TM so bad that I can taste it, but I, too, have to save for it. I don't need it as I have 2 primo vapes, but I'm 99.9% certain that it will compliment them splendidly. From all the posts, I'm thinking it may actually be the last vape I need for my taste & vaping style.

BUT ... I'm willing to wait 'til after the next 420 sales to see if the mfr. is gonna implement some of the improvements members recommended. And I would like to see how much he's gonna charge for wood upgrade. I don't like oak, & with my luck I'll get a soft, porous, roughly-textured finish & I know I wouldn't be happy. Since I can only afford to buy once, I want it to be @ the right timing. I'd be so disappointed if the mfr. came out with a noticeably improved version after I bought. I want the next comprehensively improved version.

[*Now, if anyone who's rich enough to have bought 3 wants to lend me one (for a short time, of course ;)) to check out :spliff:, I'm more than ready, willing & able. (Funny, I just recalled that there was a song back in the 60s with this title -- for those old enough (unfortunately:ugh:) to remember it.)]

This is all I have to say. :spliff: Have a good night, all. :)

Edited to add: @Shit Snacks, that's the new version amethyst w/o the red(?) in the anodyzing color making it look a fuschia purple. Am I right? 'Cause it looks beautiful.

What primo vape do you have? I'd say this has been on my radar as the next level and it delivered. I was slightly skeptical, but no, this is the next top level of portable.

Best money I spent this year, zero regrets, it is worth it.

Y'all had to drag me in here, didn't ya. I was virtually VAS free, perfectly happy with my vapes and living the satisfied life. Recently got my PSM and I was like, Damn, I'm done for now. All is well. If I ever have a customer again I can spend the money on, I don't know, food and clothes and streaming subscriptions. But no, you guys had to start bringing this thing up in threads I read. "TinyMight" said the whispers. Tinymight. And I, like an idiot, had to follow you all in here. And now look what you've done. And I thought you guys were my friends...

I blame you all, every single one of you. And I don't forgive easily. You'll see... You'll see... (Somebody hide the fucking credit card...)

I was all happy as well. I thought I might have been done with spending on vaporizers....but no. I really like this little vape. It is scratching all my itches so far.

Hey everyone! This is my first post at FC. I've been lurking here for a few weeks as I researched vapes, and I just ordered myself a Tinymight last night as a joint birthday present to myself, from myself and my wife (bday is July 20).

I'm wanting to move away from burning my herb generally, and felt like a good portable vape would be perfect since I typically only take one or two hits per week. My smoking routine is quite moderate. I can make a half eighth last a couple of months. Hopefully vaping, my bud will last even longer.

In addition to the health benefits and efficiency, I wanted a simple-to-operate vape so that my wife could occasionally join me for a sesh. She doesn't smoke at all, and trying to explain how to operate the little glass steamroller pipe I've used since college was always a challenge; I think she was too intimidated to operate it.

At any rate: I'm planning on keeping the temp setting around 6-7 and encouraging my wife to take slower, smaller draws. But I'm also interested in additional cooling for when we're at home.

I noticed a few reviewers or hosts in videos using the Tinymight with a water pipe setup. I'm thinking of this video specifically:

Can anyone give me the "explain it like I'm five" version of what I'll need to achieve this? Obviously I'll need a water pipe. Is there an affordable gold standard? Does anyone recognize what they're using in that video? Will I need to buy a different stem or some kind of special adapter? Do you guys have recommended brands or links? Is there something smaller or cheaper that offers similar benefits?

I did try crawling through the last handful of pages here, but there's a lot of lingo I don't understand and some pretty intense DIY mods I don't think i trust myself to try. I've been using a simple glass pipe for 10 years now. I appreciate your help! I live in the US, if that matters.

Cheers.

Hi @Tranquil welcome to the forums.

You'll be very grateful to yourself and your missus for the most excellent present. It's the best money I've ever spent on vapes, and I've spent quite a bit so far.

Did you pick up a WPA (Water Pipe Adapter) when you ordered it? You'll need one, most people's here use an rbt stem upside down (rbt is another brand of vapes they make the splinter and millanaa that each use) (stem is another name for mouthpiece) not the rbt WPA, that won't work. You are looking for a tube with 16mm OD and a ground glass joint the right size for your bubbler, most commonly with TM users 18mm male.

The bubbler in that video will be one of the ones he sells at vapefiend.co.uk. iirc that one is called the honey tower? But you won't want to order from him if you are in the us, he does ship worldwide but you have a lot of choices over there.

There is a thread for cheap glass bubblers on the forum, they are mostly from China, and not the quality of a domestic glass blower.

Good luck, I hope you're TM arrived quickly

And after pulling the trigger and the CC bill arrives? There doesn't seem to be a way to avoid that eventuality. Can you predict my emotions then?

I'm not really blaming you guys. I blame covid for keeping me from working and refreshing my funds.

And of course I blame those people who are pulling at my lust strings and reactivating my VAS.

Oh wait, that IS you guys. So y'all are to blame after all. Pretty sneaking trying to avoid responsibility. You guys must be in government.

Didn't I hear someone say there was safety in groups? They lied. Maybe they said safety in numbers. Does anyone know the number?

It's the VAS. I think I have a fever...

I am definitely noticing very small amounts of herb that are still green on the edge of the load, and also a light ring in the middle of the bowl. Any tips for more even extraction?

I will reach out to you guys again shortly.

This whole ordeal has just cemented one of the big holdups I've had for months before I bought the E-Nano and reading on here and Reddit about how impossible it is to reach anyone, and seems like it's been an issue for a while. This is also the reason why I bought my E-Nano from PiU instead of direct, but I couldn't get all accessories through another retailer.

I think where one of the issues lies is that unless you're fully aware of all social media, forums, and more, I would've went forever without any answer back to my e-mail. There's still no notice on the site that there are any issues with e-mail correspondence and no alternate way to contact you without digging through everything else. If I was a regular consumer and I had an issue and nobody answered me for days I would have done a charge back a week ago and went about my life, I wouldn't hunt down forums.

I haven't even heard back from whoever runs the Instagram account since 6/26, and since Instagram marks when messages are read, I can see that someone read the message but just never responded. So it can't just be an e-mail issue.

Hopefully this will be the final time I have to reach out to get this issue resolved, I will keep everyone updated as to what happens past here.
Higher temps? Load spaced from heater?

running at 7.5 and it gets pretty dark. Load is about 2mm below the glass. Just a tiny little green specs on the outside. Probably normal with convection vapes

Pretty normal and nothing to be too concerned about – I used to find them regularly when I was still using a finer grind, since I switched to the BCG with the medium plate they have been quite rare, though. Going for a bit of a fluffy pack also helps. Twisting the stem mid session is yet another method to gain more even extraction.

However, when close inspecting the abv after a session, I always found it to be pretty evenly roasted even when I didn't care and / or was sloppy about all the said above.

I saw that on the TM website, an “extra long stem” was added as a new accessory.
Has anyone used this yet? If so, what is the length of the extra long stem? How cool is the vapor? How much herb do you pack in there (looks like there is no cooling unit used in the extra long).
I was looking to pick up a long stem but the extra long caught my eye.

Try spacing it a little further away but anytime I've used 8 or higher my chance of a ring appearing increases a lot. Good spacing is the only thing that'll stop that and then I can go all the way to 10 but I very rarely go that high.

I didn't pick up a WPA, so I'll look into that Millanaa stem. I've heard it mentioned a few times, I think. Thank you for the advice! I'll see if there's a local business I can support when shopping for the water pipe.

Can someone compare the TinyMight (which got me hyped in a minute) to the Firefly 2+ and Ghost MV1, which is my reference and I need an alternative for?

That's a new one, so I don't think many of us have tested it yet. Here's a pic of it on the TM:

The TM team also added a 18mm WPA option that can be used with the cooling unit:

@cybrguy I've really enjoyed the Tinymight. Great vapor quality and no draw technique or configuration to worry about. I've been starting around 4.x and ending at seven something.

My very minor quibbles are: 1) the cooling unit is prone to clog rather quickly and even clean it robs some flavor, 2) the threaded battery door is inconvenient to use (admittedly sensible within the vape's design though), and 3) the triple click for on/off is a bit fast for me. Those are all just nitpicks though. The design is imminently sensible, the performance is excellent, and the size is as tidy as you could ask for from such a punchy portable.

I recommend pairing a rbt short stem WPA with an 18mm j-hook for home use. Two handed operation isn't as stealthy but the flavor is better and it's easier to adjust the bowl size. Having the j-hook in play lets me go longer before I have to clean the cooling unit.

@Tranquil welcome to FC and congrats on starting with such a connoisseur-level portable. Even without buying any accessories or bubblers you're sure to be satisfied.

Hi I’m still waiting on my Tinymight to arrive and was wondering what the inside diameter of the glass stem is. The one provided with it. I can’t seem to find the information on the website. Thanks in advance 👍

Fwiw, if anyone is waiting on an order I figure this might be useful context: I ordered a TM for a friend out of state on June 24. Received notice that it shipped yesterday, July 12. Shipping (to the US) was very quick when I ordered my own a month or two back.

Microdosing with the TM has been a real joy, it's right on par with my vrod flowerpot; a little goes a looooong way and both are very satisfying to cash a tiny load with one hit.

Really? :D because...... I see a huge difference, stock you have around 1mm of margin, IMPOSSIBLE to push the screen. in my opinion, you would need to be the hulk :D
Xjl0vFK.jpg
2Q5DO8n.jpg

then I tested, the capsule the way you say to use it what would it take for tragedy?...
Failure mode test
I saw 31 grams of pressure before failure, I can tell you that "felt" like nothing, most concerning was the failure mode, not graceful, certainly a good way to test if the battery protections are up to snuff. In reality, there is the o-ring of course, but IMO that makes the problem worse because of the lack of feedback easy to misjudge forces (for those who still don't see the concern, the screen would most certainly contact the heater, which would short it, that's bad). But do what you think makes sense, I feel it's like ****ing a hooker with no protection, you will be fine until your not. In practice, paying attention should save you. I just know myself, easily distracted :D

Ps the glass stem is the 80mm from the manufacturer
The part I was talking about is using the capsules isn't any different than your stem. I put the capsule in the tiny might and then put the stem in but I stop pushing down the stem when I get resistance. This is the part that I was talking about there being no difference. The point I was making is that you shouldn't have to worry about pushing the screen through into the heater when using the capsules. Anyone that can pay attention and not shove the stem in the TM with reckless abandon, should be have no problems using the capsules. Also how you place the screen in is also crucial, putting it in the wrong way makes it easy for the screen to pop out. Not saying you are doing that either but something people need to consider when taking it all apart.
