I think the bottom screen is too small to use as a top screen. Standard "smoke shops" usually have 20mm screens that are very cheap and work fine.

I prefer to remove my mouth from the mouthpiece and end the draw by inhaling a little through my mouth. That way, it pushes down any vapor still in the mouth, which nasal inhalation would bypass.

This now happens with me, but only with the FF using the oldest battery, which I must recharge before using each day.

Yeah, getting material in the mouth is one of the annoyances of the FF. A 20mm screen works great at allowing only the vapor into the mouth. I think some final hits should be after the bud is crushed, so the THC on the inside has a chance to get out. The early hits on the uncrushed buds does...

That's pretty much what I do, except for the final step I dump out the bud, crush it with fingers, pour it back it, and use a top screen.

After using my Firefly for 3 months and being very satisfied with it, I bought a second FF, because I currently prefer to alternate sessions between high THC and high CBD cannabis, which I can now do much easier by having a FF dedicated to each. And it's more convenient to wait and then clean...
