I use a my Sic nail with a torch sometimes I usually wait like a 1min 30sec before I put it on there I don't think the the rod or design of the of infiniti is gonna have any affect on heat retention of the nail anyways the dnail carb cap is a must buy for sic nail it's not the same without it

just don't get the colored one it has a different perc clear looks like it functions nice just wish it was 18mm for that price
