Good idea on the repair! The circuit board seems unaffected, though it would need a whole new body. I reached out to Mark to ask about any units for sale, I'll follow up to see if he has any spare f8 bodies lying around. Otherwise I will join the firewood 10 waiting line

Just stopping by to say I'm about 5 months in to daily FW8 use and I still love it. I think the extra capsules and two batteries make for easy regular use. I don't use a tool to take out the capsules anymore, though I still prefer a scoop for packing. Great device, well made and beautiful...

I'm a little more than three weeks in to using my firewood 8 daily. I bought tweezers and used them pretty religiously for a little while, then kind of fell off. In my experience they're not necessary for how I use the firewood. I tamp my capsules and then just drop them in the chamber. Nothing...

@firewood will you continue selling any firewood 8s?

FW9 looks beautiful. I got the 8 less than a month ago and I'm still thinking about the 9. I probably won't do it since I don't mind the battery packs at all. If the 9 is internally identical to the 8, it's a great vape!

I didn't like scooping with the capsule, thought that was the fussy part. Might just be big hands. I also like to tamp it!
