I recently made some honeybud using my UD. Basically the bud is the cotton. I put a layer and then put the honeybud or shatter on top of it. If it's sticky wax I usually melt it on. If it's hard to get off I just smear it off against the SS tip. Haven't tried straight concentrate though.
