I tried two back-to-back bowls, same flower, I noticed that the vapor coming from the Tempest 2 head is warmer/hotter then coming from the v1 head. I tried this with the v2 stem and v1 stem. Too soon for a review, looks promsing, but I dont have the feeling I want to upgrade my v1 to v2 yet.
So today I received my Tempest 2, but the V2 adapter or a part of it are missing, {found it, thanks BushRanger)
Did someone try the v2 with the old adapter and have some tips?
So couple days ago I tried the SIC balls and I'm liking the punchier hit, the difference is not that much but noticeable. I was thinking to put 1/4 SIC and 3/4 zirc and heat untill timeout with the zinc settings. Will try soon with my spare head.
If hot vapor is an issue you can also add a 8mm adapter so you can use your dynavap stems on your Crafty. If you have a stem like Revolve or Simrell or even a Dynavap with intercooler you have some cooler vapor.
Update because I want y'all to laugh.
I managed to get the old beta spring in, but the visual indicator is mirrored so my temp goes from right to left :D
Brenyo will send me a new one, nice to have this customer service on this product already.
Thats actually the reason I still love my Tempest, after bending the spring I just pushed it back in, now I have a broken VI and one-clicking-disc but it's still my main driver since I'm using the wand with the timeout.
I had the same feeling because I knew that installing the spring is the hardest part. Anyhow I managed to get the click disc in, only one is clicking. The spring is something I won't manage to install, so i'm gonna hit the flowerpot and gonna call it a day.
I only see "Place both click discs into the housing in the direction shown in the video." and in the video he just puts 2 click disc in, without showing which side?
Just received an email that it's on its way.
Thanks, it somehow worked but I only got one click, after tearing it down I could not install the spring again (it was not working) and I think I messed up the spring
