Vapolamp a take on radiant/convection heat for "moist/dense" material.

to: Reece, Lol, I cant wait either I just need 3 things to converge and it's off(in a slow build to order way). I will be taking orders then custum building each lamp myself, it's hard work but at least it makes it easy to keep an eye on QC =) and I can build one right after I get an order...

Vapolamp a take on radiant/convection heat for "moist/dense" material.

To: Stinkmeaner, You can for that "last draw" so to speak but the radiant heat ends up cooking the top pretty decently as well. To: Reece, Yes like bags the vapor eventually gets a bit stale .. in other words tasteless after about 2 hours. To: HammerZeit. yes my website as been asleep for a...

Vapolamp a take on radiant/convection heat for "moist/dense" material.

to: N.M.R.U.N. Ok, I think I can clarify everything here, This product was designed as a birthday present for my mother. She suffers from debilitating arachniditis (sp) and she was smoking her pain relieving mixture. Ok that would be fine I guess if she didn't also have COPD from a lifetime of...

Vapolamp a take on radiant/convection heat for "moist/dense" material.

Just as a small addition I am constantly making small improvements to the design and anyone who purchases an "earlier" model(first 100 or so) will have most if not all of these improvements sent to them in the mail for free, well almost free other than !@my postage to get it to you@! but no...

Vapolamp a take on radiant/convection heat for "moist/dense" material.

To: Steiner666 .. Yes the mechanism of heat application is similar to an aromed somewhat, but its way more simple to load and use I think. I had to make the base model under 100$ and still make it look and feel durable/high quality. I have had many people say "thats not Vapor, thats smoke" then...

Vapolamp a take on radiant/convection heat for "moist/dense" material.

Thanks for the questions, To stinkmeaner, Yes a glass vase(simple yet elegant) it's part of how I keep my costs down and am able to offer the basic model for under 100 bucks, There will be more options in the future such as pyrex, stained glass and hand blown chambers(need a good GB) in my...

Vapolamp a take on radiant/convection heat for "moist/dense" material.

Thanks Devo, I actually enjoy answering questions and learning from critique, And to answer yours is, yes this is a combo radiant/convection/conduction in that order and to give you a ballpark on the ratios 70/25/5 is about where it's at as far as the thermal energy transferred to the material...

Thats right, currently those are the introductory prices. They are subject to change but the basic unit will never go for over 90 on the website even after I add a glass mouth piece and stainless steel riser tubes. Best wishes, The Vapolamp Team

Vapor monkey, Thanks for the compliment and yes it does wonders for those materials and with anything resinous it will knock your socks off.! And I do use a special bulb for the lamp, which I found after moths of testing, It gives the most even heat and looks sort of cool when the lamp is off...

Yes, the tubing can be made with SS and that's one of the goals for final production, spot on man! I know poeple are all for all glass, but this vape is pretty darn close, the only non glass parts that touch the vapor at all are the gasket about 1/8" of it and the riser and internal tube for...

Vapolamp a take on radiant/convection heat for "moist/dense" material.

This is correct the intake and exhaust are both built into the gasket which seals the chamber by gravity(mostly). I was going for simplicity and durability when I designed this product. Again, thanks for the questions and feel free to keep them up. I'm going to make a huge push to have...

I have an updated device which serves as a bowl(if you look close you can see it in my avatar pic), It also shields your eyes from the bright light. All you have to do is turn it off take the top off and stir) it stops vaporizing almost immediately when you dim it.

Vapolamp a take on radiant/convection heat for "moist/dense" material.

Ok going to answer all these questions, 1. It does heat from beneath which is why you need to stir the bowl 1-2 times over the course of a session with dry material. The heat is mostly radiant with some convection happening once it heats up good, which is why you turn it down as you go =) It is...

It has an adjustable temp range from 0-450 degrees(heck in a pinch you can toss a lil plate/pan on it and fry yourself an egg) to handle the super goopy stuff then, you turn it down a tad when the pure juice vapes away. This Vaporizer will burn material but it's easy not to, once you get the...
