How hot do j hooks get? Do people wrap them in anything?

Just scored one of these dimpled j hooks from Vaps on vaps here in the UK. Comes with a Dynavap wpa, but I'll be using it with my lotus :D Edit: can't seem to post the photo from Imgur.

Hello all, just a quick question, I read somewhere that the analog herborizer Ti has a detachable cable at the Ti heater end, but the digiTi doesn't? Is that correct? I'm concerned that the digiTi cable could be a point of failure over the years.

Is there an updated list of trusted sellers on dhgate? Or do people just chance it and hope for the best now?
