The core is screwed in tight with the rim of the core being completely flush with the lip of the body. I didn't remove the o-ring from the core because it's on there tight and I'm not 100% confident in not damaging it, but this sucker can't be screwed in any tighter. edit:wow my iphone takes...

thanks PB and OF for the responses. I just reseated the o-ring and switch multiple times and the core is screwed in as tight as can be and still no luck. Any other ideas?
