Hello! So this morning I'm sitting here and I 'fire up' a bowl of ABV and my first and only hit was SUPER strong and somewhat nasty. I thought yuck and then my EQ starts beeping and the fan comes on all by itself. Also there was thick smelly smoke (not vapor) pouring out of the bowl! My ABV now...
Ya might want to try citric acid before you haul out anything really nasty! I feel it works better than vinegar. I use it in my stainless tea kettle and it makes short work of it! Just boil water, dump in a couple tablespoons or so and let it do its thing. I de-scale the hot water pots at work...
My ArGo came with a few screens for the tubes, but I haven't used them yet. I find my oven stays bright and shiny no matter how much I use it. I just blow the dust out and get on with it. Once in a while perhaps a little bit of herb gets stuck on the bottom so I use a little soft artist's brush...
Been vaping daily for at least 10 years and combusted daily for years before that. Now I breathe better and no longer have that "smoker's hack." All positives, no negatives!
The only odor besides vapor aroma I've ever noticed from my EQ is the smell of what I'm pretty sure is the heater. It is not a strong nor particularly offensive odor to me and it doesn't linger. I typically don't notice it at all but once in a while I do pick up the scent. My little counter top...
I read somewhere the ABV is not fully decarbed, but I don't recall if there was any science behind that claim. Might be true but here's what I do and it works for me. I tend to vape my herb twice at 200C. It gets nice and toasty brown (not dark brown or black!) and I like to mix one gram of it...
I don't know about my EQ as I've had it for many years, but on the bottom of my ArGo box it states, "Designed in Canada. Made in China. 2018 Arizer" Don't know what the owners manual says cause I put it in a safe place and haven't seen it for a while! I bought my ArGo in July 2019 Hope this helps!
