I think there is a perverse industry incentive to *suppress* adoption of dry herb vapes. Combustion is inefficient. Why would plugs and dispensaries encourage customers to buy *less* flower? (For me, that made Snow's article on DHVs even more amazing. I went out of my way to find his flower...
I just shook my head when I read this tale of big money and celebrity weed in Southern California.

The only thing missing is AI hype and a crypto tie-in.
The article also sheds light on the ongoing...
San Bruno was one of the cities in San Mateo that formerly opposed cannabis dispensaries. San Bruno now has a dispensary just outside the SFO airport. I reckon the city fathers noticed that the sky did not fall in Redwood City, which opened three last year.
In my experience dehydration is a major factor in greening out. Drinking a tall glass of water stops the feeling of about-to-faint.
Note Perfect_Speed's #3. It doesn't need a rig; the only time I actually hit the floor involved a "My god, it's full of stars"-level home brownie.
Drinking water...
Governor Newsom signed some bills today. My long-awaited favorite is AB 1775, which allows licensed cannabis lounges to sell non-alcoholic food and drinks, and sell tickets to onsite events, with local government approval.
Alas, he vetoed AB 1111, which would have allowed cannabis farmers to...
Since it sounds like LA Times content may be inaccessible to some folks, here are a couple further items from SFGate news.
The presence of pesticides in California oilpens has led one doctor to tell folks they'd be safer smoking flower...
I'm no chemist, but this bit of citizen science caught my eye:
"This tool may hold the key to avoiding heavy metals from weed"

If valid, great news for dry herb vapers as well as ice hash buffs. Home-made edibles from ABV may...
It's probably no comfort that California weed is cleaner, in general, than the food in the supermarkets -- lead in ground cinnamon and baby food, cadmium in dark chocolate have both been reported of late. People have the reasonable expectation that something sold in a licensed dispensary isn't...
Decades ago I visited a couple of coffee shops in Amsterdam. It was a great experience! San Francisco is probably too expensive, but perhaps we'll see one in the East Bay...
BTW someone asked earlier in this thread about the scarcity of walk-in dispensaries between SF & San Jose. I don't know...
In the last two years I've had three procedures that required general anesthesia. For each there was a "pre-anesthesiology" meeting where I was asked about weed and told to abstain for a few days before & after. I was asked if this would cause me trouble sleeping; I said no. (Thinking on it now...
An old-generation walnut eNano helped us keep our sanity in 2020. Kept it on a wicker table with a couple of comfy chairs next to glass doors facing southwest, and made a sunset ritual of it.
You don't. It's a ceramic donut coil that has a second heater positioned in the center to catch melted concentrate that pools under the donut.
I'm guessing Yocan wanted something other than the Orbit for the part of the market that is not into cotton swabs or spinning balls. (Am I the only one...
