Last week after a nice vape sesh with my Aroka junior I placed the lid back on and went to sleep happy and content. Only to wake up the next morning reach for my junior and sure enough there was a small crack in the intake tube...:( have no idea how it got there as I care for my vapes and treat...
The q-tips still should be thrown away, sounds like a necessary waste to me...but soaking resin coated glass is a great way to accumulate leftover goods so I'd just stick to that.

Not a stupid question, and imo the ronson jetlighter that I have (flip top grey single flame) has been working solid with my Vapcap for over 6 months now WITH good butane. not Ronson brand fuel. However with the sticky brick requiring horizontal or upside down lighting, the Ronson Jetlight...

My best advice is to take care of it like it's a $300 vape instead of a $30 one. CHECK YOUR LAP BEFORE GETTING UP! Once you get it though you will find how easy it is to want to keep it alive because it functions just so damn well. But it would not be difficult to rig up some sort of silicone...
