Can anyone confirm that the v2 doesn't work with the Flare? I know the v1 has issues but I thought the v2 with its upgraded induction sleeve would work.

Great to see how well it works, hope that means I can get my hands on one soon.

Any compact torch recommendations? I've heard a a triple jet lighter works well, I just don't want to carry around a big torch.

What do you use to adjust the bowl size? I assume I have to push from the bottom like a Dynavap but I don't have anything small enough.

Any idea when this will be available to others besides your testers? It solves the main problem I had which was the Wand not working well. I considered buying a Flare but they seem to be out of stock everywhere and there's talk of a new model coming soon.

I took out my insert, look up a few posts to see the most effective wand heating technique (for me at least).

For any others that had trouble getting a hang of using the wand, check out Lee at TTB's technique - He mentions that for the regular (non XL) Convector he puts it in for 7 seconds, can confirm that it works for me.

Ordered the titanium convector earlier this week, any tips for using the wand with it?
