Me too. I like the current cap and can get the roast either light or dark depending on what I want. I am pretty aggressive and do OHE without reheating (except during pull if needed). Testimonials on the new cap could change my mind though!

I’d recommend trying different batteries first if you don’t want to send it all back. Molicel from reputable vendors like illumn.com or imrbatteries are great. I’ve been buying from them for years. Might be able to get them cheaper elsewhere, but I’ve heard they’re more or less “2nd quality “.

I’d imagine that would be enough and a good fit. Just set my calipers at 5/8 and there’s some room on each side ;)

Snagged a second hand XL to accompany the lil brother :brow: The bowl is bigger than I anticipated and thick! Yep, pretty much sums it up ;) I’ll get up to go cash & reload the ZX bowl from my table. No need to with the XL. Still experimenting after only a few bowls but will probably run this...

Yea, I’d assume a new direct or helix tube will be needed if you can’t remove it from the mouthpiece. My upgrade kit came with an extra MP without that plastic bearing. Works just fine like the others 🤷🏼‍♂️

I snagged this, thx! A little thinner walled makes for a little more surface area inside. 14 joint vs the 18 on my CC is a difference as well. I was able to set the flat screen high up in the bowl without too much fuss. Nice option to have :tup:

Different strokes! I found the opposite. Influx was a hard pull for me, but agree it wasn’t too bad once you get it going. I do use minimal water, just above the perc, in the Protege. And without attachments if feasible ;) It is awesome and a great DD. Would be cool if oriented the other way...

Not for me. Same flame for either QC or Terpcicle. A screen really restricts it imo. I like a couple of larger nugs at the bottom, then a bit smaller on top. Gently push down after every few nug loads until full. Yes! I bet :rockon:Different worlds, enjoy.

Curious if anyone has experienced a working inductor, but unable to change the voltage? Mine's been stuck/set at 17.8 V for the past week. The dial moves fine from end to end, but the voltage doesn't change. I'm still waiting to hear back from CS.
