    Arizer Solo 3

I'm another person who has really been enjoying lower temp session mode. Can't wait until some new custom glass stems start coming out.

I noticed that in session mode the herb can get cooked beyond what you'd expect for the temp. I played around with airflow, and leaving about 1-2mm space between the stem (standard size) and the oven resulted in the most even extraction I've seen so far (which says a lot!). The herb looks to be...

No combustion here, but if you don't leave enough space (especially at higher temps) the end of the herb can get blackened. Not overfilling or leaving some space between the stem and heater gets rid of that problem. I've been alternating between low temp session modes and lvl 2-4 on demand...

Arizer Solo 3 vs Tinymight 2?

My buddy currently has my TM2, but the solo 3 definitely gives it a run for it's money! I wouldn't get a solo 3 if you already have a TM2 and don't mind the more "manual" nature of the TM. However, I'd recommend someone choosing between a TM2 and Solo 3 to go with the solo based on the...

Arizer Solo 3 vs Tinymight 2?

Ok You actually called out the main use case I was interested in using the solo 3 for. I was thinking of using it in session mode with my GF. Alternatively , I want it for a chill, flavorful experience when I don't want to do 1 big rip with the tempest. Or mess with a heater and hot metal in...

Arizer Solo 3 vs Tinymight 2?

After How is the flavor compared the to tm2? I impulsively preordered a solo 3, but now I'm rethinking it because I already have a tm2 that doesn't get much use.

    Arizer Solo 3

The tempest (early version) has been my daily driver since I got it. Half a cap hits me pretty hard with solid flavor. Curious how you think the solo 3 compares to the tempest in terms of flavor and high hard it can hit. I pre-ordered the solo 3 for a chill, at home flavor chaser setup (and...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

That's part of the beauty of the tempest. It can be a super convenient "desktop" ball vape with a wall IH, or you can take it on the go too.

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

My VHB 3D (plugs into the wall and has an exposed coil) arrived shortly after my tempest. Not having to think about batteries is a game changer, and it heats up very quickly compared to the torch and wand. I've adjusted the height to the sweet spot for the most even extraction. My tempest...

Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review. I've been meaning to write up mine for a while now, and you inspired me!

I made it a bit concave and managed to squish it into the half bowl setting. It's not totally flat, but the extraction is still even. I noticed that the screens it came with allowed material to get through and gunk up the bowl past the screen.

@kokolokokolokon, I finally found some TM2 screens and they are awesome for the tempest! Could just be in my head, but it feels like I'm getting better airflow and flavor too.

Thank you! Ironically, I can't seem to find my spare TM screens, hah.

Hey @kokolokokolokon, where did you order them from? I've been wanting to get some replacements just in case a ball accident happens to me (again). I haven't been able to keep up with the thread, but has anyone found screen replacements for the bowl?

I'm using the same glass piece with my tempest! Different mouth piece, but I'm really liking the TRWW one too. I use a bonger instead of a vong, but now you have me wondering if I should get one...
