Nice! I saw the updated glass bowls on the Troy and Jerry twitch steam yesterday. The changes are pretty perfect. I noticed with a more open airflow bowl the fritted disk airflow doesn’t feel nearly as restricted too. I want one!! lol

If the stand it not situated on top of the PID it looks great and sits safely and securely When it is on top of a PID it’s a bit wonky but I still can’t see it being unsafe personally. I use the cheap stand to the right of it tho so the UB stand is still available for other wireless ballers.

Replying to myself just to say I went ahead and ordered the hybrid bowl. Perfection is the enemy of progress as they say. Even tho not Ti I can tell it will work really well and be a lot of fun to use all the same. 🙌🏻

My solution to bowls that get hot without a long enough handle is using steel keck clips to lock them into an 18mm injector passthrough bowl or just an 18 male - 18mm female glass adapter. With frosted adapters just a firm twist action will lock them together without a clip unless wiggled out...

Thanks! Agreed!! That explains very well why the temps need to drop back down to the wired temps when using a barrel vs axial coil. Mounting the coil upside down for shorter housings makes sense and is a great idea too!
