20 more days in with the Switch 2 and my opinion of it hasn't changed one iota. I'm still amazed at how efficient and easy it is to use. I literally have not touched my Peak Pro since I got it, it's that good.
You don't owe a 5 star review agreed, but giving it the worst rating possible (1 star ) based on your review comments I just read, and especially using it for one whole day, actually seems borderline juvenile.
On day 2 with the Switch 2 and loving it. Just the stock kit at the moment. Had the og Switch and tbh I loved what it did but the simplicity and size of my Peak pro ended up making the og Switch an after thought. The Switch 2 size is so much better and the app makes using it so much more simple...
Believe me I'm happy to see your vision and ingenuity come to fruition and I was also proud to take part in the first batch of the pre-release Tempest orders in October of 2023, but I would be lying if I said I'm happy to see the second iteration of the Tempest I ordered is apparently completely...
I'm almost at two weeks with the Simrell and this vape has more than earned its keep. Wasn't sure how much it would be used in the rotation with my other TED's tbh. It still takes a back seat to my Tornado but it gets the same love as my Tempest. It hits hard like my Tornado, albeit smaller...
I've moved the Forge stopper same as my Tornado with threads recessed in wagon wheel. This seems to put the Simrell 'convection' zone in the coil zone of the Forge. Same settings as before and same cascade mode. First heat, one click and reheat gives me second click.
Very much so. Do try it out. Not sure what algorithm they use in the Forge to calculate reheats but it does it well. I like taking steps to full extraction at times.
Edit: Tried it with stopper up as you suggested. Your settings and using cascade mode for one reheat equaled nice dark avb. Got...
I will have to give that a try as I had been inserting the "TEDrell" :) lower. I found your 1600J and 90% settings in Cascade mode at the lower insert position quite likable even with two reheats.
That would be one of my nit picks with it....and they're fine ones to boot. Another nit pick.....the Vortex to the Extraction Chamber has reverse threading that one has to remember about.
Got mine yesterday, so not much time with it yet.
Using IH with it. Forge and Wand so far so it's heating in the hybrid mode according to Quick Guide but seems to lean more conduction than convection to me. I'll have to play around with insert depth a bit. Hits are very dense like my Tornado...
