It takes a bit longer to heat-soak when you don't turn it on. It'll be ready to chuck clouds some time after this post, but before the planet is fully engulfed by the sun's expansion into its "red giant" phase.

Pretty much this, except I hit it at 30W, and hit it pretty hard rather than as hard as I can. It took some time to get the technique down. Once you do you can definitely fully extract a load in several hits. Does anyone know any current US sellers with 14mm WPAs for the V2?

Has anyone ever removed and dropped the Shovelhead bowl while removing the head? My roommate did it twice in a row the other day... with fresh bowls I packed for him lmao. I'm confused because I just tried to do it on purpose and can't. Dude is just clumsy in impressive ways.

Is there a noticeable functional difference between the thinner/thicker looking Alphas? Looks like the two "thin" ones are already gone so I can't post a screenshot, but the wood looked notably thinner on them than the above-pictured Caribbean Rosewood. Also, are the ridges on this one just for...
