I typically use the bottom screen when I pack a full load. I notice it helps cook everything more evenly. The trick is filling the chamber just right. If you don't put in enough the top screen will rattle around and not serve much of a purpose, but if you put in too much the oven lid won't...
I decided to look into the whole SSN thing and found this out.
When you register an account on the PAX site they have to verify your age. The way you do that is by entering in your name, address, and birthday. Pax checks this with a database of state issued IDs and if the information you...
From my experience the main thing that leads to that roasted taste is the temp. What temp are you using on the crafty? and what temp was the mighty at when you tried it? I know you said you used a range of temps, but you never said what temps specifically. It might be possible that your crafty...
Why buy a case? It's already pocketable and very durable.
I don't know what you mean by spare batteries. The pax 2 does not have replaceable batteries. The battery lasts long and charges so fast, I don't see the need to be able to replace it
It's already a tight fit packing .1 without the added bottom piece. I'll try it out though.
Edit: I tried it out. Air flow felt very restricted. Also, the screens don't sit securely. vapor king's method was not a game changer for me. I prefer to just use the top piece. It's helped me conserve a...
bottom piece without the top piece lets little bits of debris through if you draw strongly. top piece with the pax 2 screen is my preferred method. I packed .08 and got 8-10 good hits. halfway through I turned up the temp from 2 to 3. So far I would recommend only getting the top piece, unless...
Just got my Pax sandwich this morning. I've only tried 3 sessions using both the top and bottom pieces. You can barley fit any material in there and get the lid closed securely. Works as advertised. I did one session at the 2nd temp setting and two sessions at the 3rd setting. The 2nd setting...
Thanks, just ordered the screen and pusher. I'll report back on if I notice any improvements. I still would like to order some more of the thin ones that PAX makes though.
After a session, I like to turn on the light painting mode in the dark. Its very entertaining to watch the light trails change color when you wave it around quickly
Thoughts on Pax 2 Vs Crafty. I use my Pax 2 and crafty with about .3g. The crafty I leave at 356F and the Pax 2 on the 2nd temp setting with the flat mouthpiece.
Battery- Pax 2 has a lot more battery. Crafty only gets 4 packs per charge, while my Pax 2 is at 3/4 charge after 4.
Charging- Both...
I have owned a crafty for 5 months, and just got the pax 2 yesterday. After one night of using both I prefer my crafty right now. I think there is a bit of a trick to getting consistent hits from the pax 2. Not sure if its how i'm packing it, drawing on it, or something else. I need to spend...
