Same, and now part of my lid sheared off while trying to get the storage pieces in place.

My M7 fits but is the external diameter isn't as large as that of the glass stem, so it has more space to knock around in the wood.

I’m thinking the storage compartment piece will hold the stem snug, but I’m only speculating after looking over the instructions. I put a tiny o-ring on mine. It holds it snug.

It’s not in the manual but it’s same as activating it on the FW9, four quick presses and the hold the fifth. It’ll vibrate 4 times, and begin heating. There’s no second vibration for temp as now it’s just wide open.

Ok, so mine showed up yesterday. I’ve only put four bowls through it but it’s my current favorite. The feel is much better/natural than the nine. If it heats up faster, it’s not by much. I temp stepped the first couple (after a burn-off) and then tried one on 440°and then one unregulated. I...

Has anyone actually tried it? We’re now a few days into people receiving them but no one has even mentioned how well it works or compares to previous iterations.
