Hopefully you haven't shorted anything yet. Your last hope might be putting the PNP in a bag or container full of uncooked grains of rice. This will help draw out the moisture from inside the PNP. Leave it overnight to play it safe. Best of luck! Refer to the following link...

Nice mod on the stem. I did try using a screen tucked into the oven too but found that the heating time was greatly increased. I think this is because there is less surface contact between the bud and the oven walls. I ended putting a screen right below the stem. It's been holding up...

@Modicum, I scooped up a waterproof rubbery plastic sleeve for sunglasses that use. No padding. I also have one made out of leather. Both do an amazing job containing the smell. Both have a drawstring that cinches up nice and tight.

Good luck! Try soaking the mouth piece in warm water before scrubbing it with the magic eraser to see if it softens the resins.
