I feel that my Solo II is producing less vapor and requiring stronger draws. I am packing loose and pulling up stem ever so slightly. Thinking it might have to do with material getting down into the 4 small holes in the chamber.
How can I clean those out? Is it even possible?
Mine must be broken then... a half dozen sessions before you have to refill? I get 6 drags. The two little holes sit about dead center of the water level for me.
So quick question - I know the stems need occastional cleaning, but what about the unit itself? Can flower crumbs get in the four small holes in the heating chamber? Or does the unit itself actually never need cleaning?
Also, I am looking for a good bubbler. I hear the D020-D recommended often...
What temps and how many draws are you guys getting per stem? I start at 345 and can get like 4 good puffs from that. Bump up to 355 and can get another good 4 in. I am surprised at how much I am getting at such low temps. I pumped it to 270 after that and it was a monstrous hit. I thought people...
Gonna throw in my 2 cents.
I think the Firefly 2 is fine. I had to send in my original unit for service after only a month, which was frustrating. I was eventually sent a brand new unit. I can say that the second unit has a more open draw than the first, and is generally easier to pull on. Why...
The following was written on Reddit. Any truth to it?
"The airpath much like the Extreme-q is routed through the PCB, solder, and plastic wire steathing that gets warm and offgasses right into your lungs! Still suffering a headache and sore throat, and I did the recommended burn off cycles and...
Do the bent stems cut down on harshness? I love the vape, but it can get a little scratchy with the stick straight stems.
Are the turbo stems worth it? Would hate to get a turbo bent stem to cut down harshness only to have the increased vapor production cancel out the benefits of the bent...
In addition to the loose stems I have, I have noticed that the stem leans to the RIGHT ever so slightly. After looking further, it appears that the O ring (not sure exactly what it's called - it's the piece of rubber inside that you stick the stem through) protrudes out more on the left side...
So is the stem supposed to be loose once it's fitted? I do have to press firmly to get it to pop in, but once it it will jiggle around a bit. Is this normal or what?
