Yes standard plate. I think it did very well for it being as sticky as it was my other grinder would have gummed up and possibly got a bit stuck. I have the expansion kit on order, I like the stock plate for bowls however for my mighty or rolling I'd prefer a finer grind so I'm excited to try that.

I didn't even remove the main stem...it did not make it through. I did maybe one turn and it was all milled leaving just the stem.

I'm totally doing this to mine. As soon as I used mine once I immediately ordered a ring and the expansion kit. I love it. Hopefully it ships soon :_

Been a long time lurker and ordered a mighty and a flowermill last week. Got the mighty Wednesday and have a flower mill coming today CANT WAIT TO TRY IT! However, I completely regret not getting the ring and other grinding plates. Hopefully the mighty likes the standard mill.
