water will have a tendency to collect in the bottom of the j and thus be able to splash up into your mouth. and I don't think you would have problems with that bub but that bub is kinda expensive look around Etsy and you will find a better price for something similar.

I think glasstafarian might be right about the splash back you would encounter with a smaller shorter tube also consider the somewhat constant diameter of the tubing is going to help prevent this as well.

Correct, fresh properly cured buds can and are run by thousands every day for reference check out tokecity.com and go to after harvest/hash and oil and you will see it is a regular and encouraged practice that has far better results than dry I'm only speaking from a lot of first hand experience...

Well there you are wrong, the photo of the run in the post above was done with fresh sticky buds dime to quarter sized buds packed so tight you can't blow any air through. You want the buds to be flushed and cured properly but you will see a cleaner better tasting errl when using fresh buds, try it.
