I keep all holes wide open, even the carb..er, airport, as the Dynavap dudes call it. Two long, slow, 10-second inhales toasts a load fully and evenly. One heating cycle a 100W for 40 seconds. It clicks at 36 seconds, but I leave it in The Flare for the full 40.
Currently soaking my Dani and a Mighty mouthpiece in iso. Decided to try a Dynavap in the Flare.
Was cocky and went past the click by 5-6 seconds, and had my first combustion in 10+ years. Oops!
Best was my wife in the other room: "Do you smell skunk?" 🦨
Dunno if it was on the FC forums or Vaporents, but someone showed a pic of the magnet area of the Flare completely smashed.
I decided never to use it after seeing that.
Got my Flare on the weekend. Goodbye torch! Still dialling in the best temp/time on the unit, but very impressed.
An audible beep when the timer countdown was done would have been nice, but it's a small complaint!
EDIT: 75W for 30 seconds seems to working nicely for me. It's allergy season and...
I won't lie, even though the costs of a torch and butane have been minimal (single-flame Ronx) it would be nice to plop it into a heater and wait for the click. I certainly loved Pipes' Dynavap induction heaters.
According to my email inbox, I received my Dani Fusion from BFG in May of 2023. It's killed my VAS. The 7-8 vaporizers that came before it continue to gather dust.
Even though I use it daily, I'm still on my 2nd $10 can of butane. Would I really find value in the new BFG induction heater...
It's funny, I own a bunch of Dynavaps that have never been heated with a torch. I bought a few of @Pipes induction heaters, and love them.
The Dani Fusion on the other hand? I can't imagine using anything other than a torch with it. Especially with how far past the click one has to go. To...
Anyone else having trouble with o-rings being easily torn? I don't know if they got brittle from soaking in iso, but when I remove the tip put it on the WPA, they are shredding. I've even been rubbing some Dynavap wax on them, but it isn't helping.
Wow, tip of the cap to Soothing Vapours (https://www.soothingvapours.ca) for stellar customer service. Took advantage of the Canada Day deal - that was on offer LONG after Canada Day had passed - of a free WPA with the purchase of a BFG vaporizer.
Thanks much, Soothing Vapours! You are greatly...
