Thanks for the follow up. I just soaked everything in soap and water and now I’m “drying” them with the screwball set to 600°. Figure most of the water should evaporate and any residual stuff should burn off. Seems to be working well enough so far 😂
The blow dryer is probably the better drying...
Has Cal said anything about doing a burn off on the new bowls? Just got my hybrid bundle in yesterday and noticed there’s quite a bit of grease on the o rings and on the glass that goes inside the bowl piece. I’m just not sure if that stuff is concerning or not. I cleaned the glass side with iso...
Has anybody run their Screwball off of an extension cord? Currently moving into a new place and I hate where the outlets are in the garage (my vape zone). Just don’t wanna burn anything up.
iDB posted this to the CC Discord, this morning;
There is going to be an issue with this glass drop. We were shorted on a bunch of rigs. We have put every one into processing and are packing out in order of when orders were placed. We are trying to contact the manufacturer but they are on...
Cal said he’d be sending out something for the units with the wonky screens. At one point, he said he’d send out screens, but last time I asked it sounded like he was thinking about sending replacement heaters… he responded to one of my questions a couple pages back. I’m too lazy to look it up...
I’ll definitely be acquiring some different attachments and pass throughs to try out. Can’t wait for our Protégés to get made and shipped.
I tried a whip on my Influx once when I first got it and wasn’t a huge fan, but I need to give it another shot. I’d really love to love it.
Do you have a preference? I’m currently running the Screwball through a Cloud Connoisseur Influx with a CC ash catcher. Just preordered the new Protege with a CC drop-down so I’m excited to see how they hit differently (including the ash catchers).
I’ve also used my Screwball with a bigger TAG...
This was my thinking, as well, but it seemed worth asking. Cal also confirmed that mine appears to be sitting as designed so I’m happy with this explanation.
My Screwball works great and gets the job done well, but there’s lots of variables so I’m always wondering if there’s anything I could...
One more question for you guys with more coil/ball vape knowledge than I;
I’ve noticed some of y’all’s coils aren’t as tight as mine is. Mine has zero gaps while there’s noticeable gaps between some peoples’. I’ll try and post a screenshot of one with a screenshot of mine. Just curious how much...
My screen is domed upwards and that’s how it’s been since it arrived. Still produces lots of vapor and seems to work as designed. The gems are tight. I tried manipulating the screen without removing the gems and it doesn’t move at all, it’s tight. I could remove the gems and try pushing from...
Cal mentioned a while back that in the last run, all/most of the bottom screens weren’t sitting flush and he theorized that the screen was too large and he’d be sending out replacement screens once they got to the bottom of it… His last post touched on that but didn’t mention what the solution...
