I just weighed out .25g of fluffy ground herb, and found it completely filled Daisy's bowl, well above the "fill to this line" line, about 5x the amount Tommy shows in this instructional video:
I didn't try hitting it with the 0.25g load, because I can't imagine vaping that much per session...
My experience with Daisy is that she tastes best when the entire load is cached in 1 hit. In other words I love Daisy as a "one hitter."
I will say however that my loads are much smaller than .25g. That would be well beyond my lung capacity. But if it is possible for you, I see no reason why...
Lately I have been using temp 7 but inserting the stem only when I am actually taking a hit, then quickly removing it (with the unit inverted so as not to spill). This seems to give me a great flavor, like I would associate with convection. Does anyone else use their Solo like that?
If it is possible to vaporize ethanol extracts (I doubt it due to sugar content, but I've honestly never tried it) then I'm sure the mega thread in my link above will have trustworthy instructions. :)
I can't get 190 proof where I live, either, but I find 151 proof works just fine for making tincture. (I'm assuming "oil" is UK slang for "tincture"?) But you are a little confused: alcohol tincture isn't used in a vaporizer, you just put a few drops in your mouth or add it to a beverage.
Here...
I just bought another Daisy, on the theory if Triihouse is in trouble, it is the one thing I can do to help them.
However, someone told me they are just "overwhelmed with orders" so let's hope that's the case. :)
If anyone is on the fence about owning a Daisy, don't hesitate, grab one while you can! She's the most artistically-crafted and soulful vape on the market today in my opinion. :)
Sounds like the perfect textbook ABV effect to me. I would be very pleased with "feather floaty" ABV edibles! If you want the head effect then make your next batch of edibles with green unvaped herb.
I've been enjoying Daisy with the following modifications:
Removed wooden mouthpiece and o ring.
Removed the short metal tube joining the two halves. (Magnets are strong enough.)
I agree with the comments above that with Daisy it is easier to combust than many other vapes. What I did to...
