Does anyone know if these Puffco Peaks from Alibaba are legit? I inquired with the seller and he said they ship from Canada, which seems odd. They did claim that they are 100% authentic, but who really knows...
I know the wait sucks guys. I was waiting forever too but decided to go a different route. I got the quartz bucket for v2 and I'm getting the SiC or sapphire bucket for the v3 when it comes out. Your patience will be rewarded though. Hang in there!!

Mine are set at 365 and stay there. I give them at least 30 minutes to warm up and they're good to go. Sounds like @Oneiric may have received a bad iron.
I wouldn't user a half ton press personally but it will work. Just turn up the heat a little bit to compensate for the low psi.
The Bolton vice is going to apply more pressure than a half ton press.
You're not comparing apples to apples but I won't address that part. The thing that is strange to me is the part about cleaning it. My quartz cleans easily using q tips. If I do get any buildup I turn it up to 900 and it ashes and cleans easily.

The next version Liger 3.0 will be flat coil compatible. In fact you'll want a flat coil with the 3.0 version. Its not due out for a couple months though and that's not guaranteed.
