Does anyone know if the glass tube that's behind the metal of the heating chamber is interchangable between the TM1 and the TM2? Mine is broken on the TM2 and it's hit performance a bit, but I was hoping to just be able to take the extra one I have from a TM

Thank you so much for diving into it properly, I really appreciate it, I did a dismantle and clean and that helped but somehow what helped the best was just to not use the basket screen, I don't know why, but if I just forego the basket screen and use half a CU in it instead it worked tremendously

I saw someone mentioning using TI wire in the stem instead of a cooling unit, has anyone done anything similar? Maybe used SS wire or balls?

Sadly my economic state isn't as good as it was when I got the TM so can't be shopping for more stems (should be finy by 2023), ideally I'd want something as long as the short stem but with better cooling/airflow because at the moment the CU gets clogged and airflow can get uncomfortably...

Can I get people's opinion on the Ti stem you get with the TM2? I've been using it on and off with different configurations and thus far I think the stem gets hot AF on the lips with the CU in it at anywhere above 6 but the vapor is pretty pleasant and without a CU it keeps cool for longer but...

What would you say the total price of making one of these is? Considering I have no real tools to shape glass except a blowtorch XD
