I find that very interesting since I just got the enano because my solo wasn't cutting it. I find it much more efficient than the solo. What temp do you use the solo at and did you try to get the enano to the same? We use the solo at a 4 so after testing I set the enano to 6. @6 my enano hits...
Back from my first session last night with the enano... Pretty impressed, amazingly smooth and efficient. I have OK stuff right now and the solo was just not cutting it, I had suspected it was very inefficient for some time now. I am a lightweight and me and my wife were having to share two...
I would say start at 6 like the manual and most people say. The temp drops to 350 in a couple empty draws but that because its empty and the air flow is wide open. Loaded less air will get through and the drop should be lower.
My maple enano arrived!
Powered up right away set it to 10 and it heated up to 360+ F in 2 minutes and then maxed out my IR thermometer in 3 minutes (over 430 F) then let it sit for 20 minutes. Now I'm monitoring temps at different settings to see what lines up with the temps I'm used to. 6 is...
Just got a response and confirmation it did ship on the 17th so that's good. Probably just got hosed by the storm in the Midwest last week.
Update-Edit
Seems I'm stuck for a bit. USPS says they haven't received it yet and Epic CS says it shipped... fun
Darn... Empty mailbox again  Something is up, supposed to be 2-3 day priority & still just shows pre-ship info. I emailed and asked for an update... if it hasn't left their building yet I'm cancelling. Received pre-shipping info on the 17th.
I'm probably missing out on a B.F. sale but just ordered an e-nano. Fingers crossed for fast order processing, hoping to try it out this weekend. Annoyed with my solo over the year or so I've had it now and looking for an upgrade, mostly in efficiency.
