My steampunk has been the perfect vape. I never had any cleaning issues, or anything else. It does nice thick clouds, and the dose caps are fantastic. I didnt need the new one, but the steampunk has been A+++ and I wanted the newer version because if they could make it even a tiny bit better...

I've not had any hinge issues with my Steampunk. I've had it for quite a while, so I am guessing they did fix it. I can't say that I sit on it or open it forcefully or anything. Just normal open, put in dose cap, close over and over and over and - It's as awesome as it was since the day I bought...

Re: Capsules. The ones shipping now are the second version. The first version weren't so great and I remember not liking them for.. reasons. The current versions are really nice. They don't take any of the flavor, and heat up just as quickly as if not using them. While I never had any issues...

Makes sense when holding, I guess. Mine is always on a table and I'm always loading dose caps from it. Gem cut annoys me for that because it doesn't sit still and wobbles all over. Wonder if the SS bottom can mate with the aluminum body.

Does the larger OG AVLP mouthpiece fit on the new one? I'm not that worried about the mouthpiece, but different options (larger, bong adapter, etc) would be welcome to the line!

I usually do initial heating with my vapes to burn off the robo farts. I dont remember the AVLP ever having that smell.

Huh, it even comes with a built-in wire cleaner. Had no idea.
