So I just returned my Ascent, and I've decided to get a Solo! But I'm wondering - is there any difference between the newer models M1A, M1B... M1D? Or are they all the same?
thanks
The only courier close to me is Fed Ex, and I'm shipping from Europe. But I found out the local mail service here works with Parcel Force, so I'm going there now to see if they will do tracked.
EDIT: They do! I paid £21 ($32), not exactly cheap, but much better than Fedex, UPS etc.
I sent DaVinci an e-mail with pictures of the defects as soon as I received my Ascent last Friday. I requested a refund by e-mail on Saturday after thorough inspection of the unit. I have still not received any response from DaVinci. I'm also kinda cheesed off that we have to pay return...
I will say this: the old Macbooks allowed the battery to be removed by the user, and it could be used with just the charger in order to preserve the life of the battery. The new Macbooks do not allow the user to remove the battery, or to bypass the battery in any way.
I just sent an e-mail to DaVinci requesting a refund. All items are back in their box and ready to go. Sad times :(, I really thought this would be the "the one". Time to buy a Solo I guess...
No, I thought the rubber seals would be closer to the outside of the vaporizer, away from the vapor path but preventing external air from entering. The bottom line is, the vape has always been marketed as GonG, and that's what is/was sold as on their website. It is still listed as GonG. They...
Very cool idea dude. That might also increase the purity of the draw, preventing excess activity in the area above the bowl... Might have to fire up my Ascent now lol.
Its either glass on glass or it's not. That's what glass on glass means, glass on glass. True or false. There's no opinion to be had on it. Just because you are "marketing", that is no reason to sell your product with factually incorrect information. If anything, that's an area where you should...
Sorry if I'm not making it clear, I'm talking about the space between the bowl and the holes in the glass screen. That space contains rubber on both sides. When the vapor is drawn through, it will make contact with that rubber. Also when materal is being heated up in the chamber, the resulting...
No I am not talking about the exposed lip, I am talking about the rubber seal itself which makes contact with the vapor. If this has been known about for 7 months, then why does DaVinci's website describe the Ascent thus:
Glass on Glass Portable Vaporizer
All Glass Pure Vapor Path
It is...
Is it really that hyper-observant, to notice that an "all glass" vapor path includes a rubber seal, several mm of which appears to be exposed to the vapor?
