Thanks Vambo1980, I'm glad to know that I don't have to sit around and wait for the crafty to cool off before I hook it up to a charger. It's so much easier to remember to plug it in right after a session.

Since you say the Crafty will not charge if the battery is too warm, then can I plug it in to the charger immediately after using it, and then when it cools down enough, it will start charging automatically? What is up with Storz-Bickel customer service? I emailed them several times over a week...
