To those who defended the Slug.33 I would like to say thank you and I appreciate it. I'll take a moment and indulge myself here, after all I just did yummy dab of this years fresh rosin made with my Slug.33 Fat Mac!
I see no need to respond to @okydokes we all know what the Slug.33 is, and...
Some people blame the tool for their inability to operate it while others do what it takes to figure it out. The thread is dead because the Slug.33 works and theres nothing left to dispute or debate.
Tell me about it. I feel even worse for the people who fall for his scam. Huge flaw in the design just from looking at it. No thought process behind it, just a fraud.
Now I know why you are dissatisfied, you bought the counterfeit one from the loser in the UK. I am sorry you did that. Just the look alone should have put up a red flag, that thing looks like it was made by a six grader. I wish you luck finding your path to rosin.
Great thread here! Of course there is upsides and downside to all methods. The Slug.33 does not have to be one's final choice, it can be just one option to add to your tool box. There are specific advantages to an electric press for sure like being able to press bubble hash witch the Slug.33...

We are still working on them, they have been on the back burner for a bit because we just got to busy processing orders. Things have leveled off now and we will be getting back to R & D. Good to hear from everyone here on FC!
Yes, there many other options when it comes to electric heating methods. There is also something called heater rope and polyimide heaters and silicone strap heaters. I think it would be pretty cool to see.
The problem with the temp gun is the shiny surface along with the shape of the Slug...
@ClearBlueLou I prefer 3.5 with the fat mac. The puck seems to flair out to much with any more than that. @Sick Vape Its a sad situation when trying to run hash through your Slug.33. Good luck with your experiments. Let me know if you succeed!
