@Smokey McVape that's interesting about the cap, thank you for sharing. You have possibly saved me some money getting hold of a new tip, if it doesn't work so well with a regular cap.

I think it's strange how these exclusive offerings are ye olde Omni (not 2021), and anodized with a standard cap (not PVD coated, or with a colourful cap).

8mm is the diameter of a standard cigarette too which is handy because this means some cigarette holders can be used as stems. However I have found they sometimes come up a bit small - I suppose you could squeeze a cigarette filter in, but obviously not a metal vapcap tip. They could be adapted...

My Dynawax went weird and sticky after a couple of years. Now I have a big tin of mixed walnut oil and beeswax which was sold as a chopping board conditioner, works just as well if not better.
