Yep that is correct. I just posted here cause I figured it was relevant enough. The DotMod has a screen and adjustable wattage. That last coil is a similar resistance, and I use it around 20 watts.
The dotmod also has a similar power selection mode to the dotleaf and those wattages are way too...
Here's a quick demo. I have made a wood mouthpiece (not in video) and added a bigger coil. Works well, not sure it's better than a dedicated herb device though.

Pretty happy with the way this imp body turned out. I found a good technique for putting o-rings on mouthpieces.
Have you looked into wax pens? Great use for your box mods if you use concentrate. Wax atomizers are much easier to use than herb atomizers, in my opinion.
I've tried the ceramic rods from the Quartz Quest on a stem pod before. They took too much power to reach vaporization temps. Bad on battery and it made the atomizer HOT. Not trying to discourage you though.
It did give me super even ABV.
Welcome, friend. In addition to this thread, this other DIY thread has some info on vaping herb with drippers. Have fun, and good luck.

Update on my experiment. I got these really cool metal panels for it. I don't like the logo, I'm looking for a way to get rid of it.
I drilled out the top wide enough to take 810 drop tips, and to allow me to quickly reload capsules. I had a little incident with the Dremel and had to grind down...
The vapor itself isn't too bad, at least for me. I think the capsule lid makes a semi-efficient heatsink that absorbs some of the heat. The mouthpiece gets pretty warm after a long hit, but cools pretty quickly.
I'm planning on eventually making some sort of cooling unit.
