Normally I just dip a q-tip in the acetone and slide it through the condenser, and on the inside of the tip, trying to not hit the o-rings. But this time I gave the tip a bath in the acetone as it was pretty goopy. The o-rings on the condenser are fine and never touch any solvent.
Acetone just...
Anyone know the dimensions of the high temp o-rings that goes on the titanium tip? I cleaned mine out with acetone and ruined the o-rings that are attached to the tip where it inserts into the body.
I tried to order them thru the dynavap website, but they wanted to charge $13 for shipping a...
Just got a new dynavap. So far I love it. I was trying to find a vaporizer that conserves herb as much as possible. My Boundless CFX is great, but it bakes my herb and I end up using 3X's more than smoking a bowl.
Thanks to this site, I found the dynavap. It works great, the hits are amazing...
Anyone use a culinary torch to light these? I have one with a base that stands on its own, seems like it would be easy to use by standing the torch on a table and using two hands to twist the dynavap.
Thanks for that info. Never heard of the vapcap or underdog, did I quick search and those are what I may need. I'm so used to smoking bowls, just a couple small hits at a time. I'm having a hard time with vaporizers mimicking this. Biggest problem is I'm using 3X's more vaping than combusting...
The grasshopper seems to be a very efficient vaporizing for conserving weed. This is one reason I like the Firefly2. Is this true? And where do you buy the hopper, only place I saw was directly from hopper.
Laser thermometers measure the surface temperature of a material. The only error with these is with highly reflective surfaces, which the inside of that chamber is not.
New guy here. I've had the CFX for about two months, just ran into this thread because I was wondering about the whole convection conduction discussion.
So, I just used my laser thermometer to test the chamber temperature without any vegetation in there. I set the temp to 430, waiting for two...
