It goes from room temp to 250 farenheit, but since the plates are so small the rosin leaks to the sides not touching the hot plates as much. And once it's at about 220 you can just pull it from the wall and press at that. But how many watt should my step down transformer be? Since a 100 watt...

When using it in my bong the heater is about 2 to 3 inches away from my face. Is that a problem? Can the temprature change from inhaling fresh air thru a hot heater make it chip a piece straight into my face?

Love this thing. 45 sec on big buddy lowest is too hot. the slightest burn. This thing is so easy to learn and it hits you so hard.
