    The Nomad From Morwood

I don't know if this will quell any suspense, but I went out of my way trying to expend a battery (Molicel P26A) in my Nomad the other night (using Dan's hybrid heater). I got through 7 bowls and the battery was still kicking. Fell asleep, woke up in the morning and had the 8th bowl--definitely...

Thank you so much! You've been more than helpful along the way... especially considering I wouldn't have had the "canvas" if not for you! I've been a neglectful Nomad owner and have never really cleaned the contacts... still hits like a brick!!!

    The Nomad From Morwood

Painted my Nomad's sleeve! I never wouldve painted over Dan's art, but I'd opted for a kraft paper design. I started sanding and it was sanding off way too quickly in some areas an not enough in others, so I expedited the process and just put my primer over what was left. Some acrylic coats...

    2021 Most Reached For

Way too many D8 carts through my Uni Pro! And the majority of my flower through my '19 Omni XL. But I have probably used my Nomad more this year than any other... been a rough one.

My throat can be a bit sensitive too although my Nomad (OG) only makes me cough if I go for a mega-hit, lol (using new "hybrid" heater). Very cool vapor considering how short the path is. The issue with throat irritation is more of an issue with tiny flower particulate getting through the screen...

My low heater takes less than 10 seconds to glow red, definitely not a contact issue. I think I just have some thicc lungs or something. I use my Omnivap on the tightest draw constriction. The low definitely has its place if you want to extend your session. The new heater--I have the OG Nomad...

    The Nomad From Morwood

Yeah, for me the low heater doesn't get much use--I have a difficult time drawing slowly enough to get vapor. It's not like it's not possible, it's just less natural for me than the high heater. My Nomad stem fits and seals pretty damn well into my 14mm bong. I don't think I really need a WPA...

Not to derail this thread too much, but I'd like to add the show Firefly and, afterwards, the movie "Serenity" to tie up the abruptly-ended show. I've seen each at least 3 times.

    The Nomad From Morwood

Honestly I think I've sent around 100 bowls through it, 150 max. The old loading system with the briar wood ring and two screens was kind of a pain in the ass; I have a vape (Flowermate Slick) which is more of a bitch to unload, but the Nomad was up there. Now? It's convenient as fuck, so I've...

I think the finish and embossing of those gold parts played into it wearing fast, though the corners have worn through a bit--so maybe I'm just treating it too roughly? Not sure.

My money's in on anything you pursue  loving my Nomad right now, will likely hop on the Nomad II train sometime within a year. I was using Samsung 25R 20A batteries with my Nomad since I got it and only recently upgraded--these 30A Molicel batteries are definitely where it's at! And the...

    Dynavap VapCap

So my '18 Omni XL was capless for a minute and I bought two new (og) caps via Dynavap. They were SUPER lose when I got them, had to squeeze the fuck outta them to get them to stay on my Omni... and now I'm noticing a significantly looser air flow than before. :( A little disappointed as I like...

    The Nomad From Morwood

With the low powered heater, it def requires a sipping technique; imo even a slower draw than the MFLB. Right now I'm using the in-body screen as a heat diffuser & still using the screen and wood sandwich in the stem. It's not that I dislike my sleeve, I think I just, in retrospect, would've...
