I just got a new iPhone to replace my 6s, which wasn't holding much of a charge, and I initially thought I might be able to copy the Firefly app over since phone-to-phone migration was added a version or two ago. No such luck. The icon shows up but it can't be reinstalled on the new phone.
So...
I'm a longtime unscented Dr Bronners kind of guy, so I suspect the fragrance from the dish soap would be more obtrusive than the waft of hot metal. Maybe a little Sonicare treatment with baking soda and vinegar? I'll play around with it.
Speaking of purity, I've used my M a handful of times now and it seems to be working fine in terms of producing vapor but I've found the "hot metal" smell/taste a little distracting. I guess it's not surprising – it is hot metal after all – but is this something that burns off or diminishes with...
Yes. And from a merchant's perspective, without a signature it's hopeless to dispute a chargeback. The recipient can just claim they never received it. So I don't blame Puffitup at all.
Ditto! I was actually home but didn't realize the USPS carrier was doing the "knock knock I need your signature" rather than the usual "knock knock I'm leaving a package on your porch." So I went to the post office to pick it up.
Puffitup was great – how genius is putting candy in the package...
Sneaky Pete is having their Black Friday sale and they had ten Apollo 2 induction heaters for $55 each that included an M that sold out in under a minute. No surprise there. Anyone get one?
I've got a Mighty arriving Friday from Puffitup! $279 including shipping with a stand, grinder, and WPA seemed like a great deal. That, the Dynavap, my e-nano and recently-upgraded Firefly 2+ should complete my collection, he said hopefully.
Phew. I got a couple server errors (502 Bad Gateway) but persevered and picked up two Ms and a lighter. I've never smoked so I've been resistant to lighter-based vaping but we'll see how it goes. If I love it, I have a feeling an induction heater is in my future. Thanks to DynaVap for the sweet...
But is that true? The original Crafty did passthrough if the battery was over 20%. I've read elsewhere that the Crafty+ does as well, though whether it's good for the battery to charge it while running the heater is another question.
I'm facing this choice too. It still sounds like the Mighty will have cooler vapor, better battery life, and faster charging than the Crafty+. Not to mention that it took S&B quite a while to deliver a reliable Crafty, so I'd be concerned about the reliability of an early Crafty+.
I think you...
I know they're German, but I had to chuckle at S&B's claim of "food-proof" plastic. Finally, a vape I can use while eating spaghetti! (I think that's "food-grade.")
No huge revelations that I can see, but here's part of a brochure with the size and "under 60 seconds" heat-up claim:

I'm in the market for a Mighty myself as an at-home load-and-kick-back vape and it's probably too early to say but could the Crafty+ have something that would make a person regret buying a Mighty? The Mighty still warms up faster than 1:09, doesn't it?
