It's the handle off the flowerpot. I'm using the PID off that with this too.
Thanks!
It's a candle holder, I don't leave the coil on when I place it on it, it's on there warming up and cooling down really.
Also popped a silicone dab mat underneath, just incase of a slip or drop.
After a weekend of testing, I'm running it at 240*C through a globe bubbler and am very happy with it.
It's a nice little sipper with the globe bubbler for a few minutes, or a big quick ripper in a tall bong and the temp up a little.
Those clips do slip if I'm being clumsy, but I'm...
Cheers dude!
Mine landed this morning thanks to Postman Pat.
I pinched the handle off my flowerpot, so we're all ready to rock and roll.
Looks like I need to write this afternoon and evening off for some testing! I have a few jars of Mountain Gold that's curing ready to also be tested.
I...
Well, I didn't have long to wait. Just ordered one from Rec Vape in the UK!
Oooh, feels like Christmas round here already. I may bust the old tree out from up in the loft! :sherlock:
I agree with this ^^^
Room temp water and a pinch of himalayan sea salt in the bubbler stops any irritation for me.
I don't use the solo 3 through water though, I run mine at 170*C and just lightly sip away on it. 5 mins and it's spent n done.
Are you folks with coughing/irritation issues...
I did back to back testings on mine day before yesterday as someone on another forum asked me about it, and it feels more open than the 2. The new xl stems also work real well in the solo 2. I found I just needed to bump the temp by 10*C or so.
What also helps with airflow is just lifting the...
I shall wait quietly in the corner for an 18mm coil to hit the UK.
My flowerpot PID may get dusted down and put into use. I'm assuming they'll fit (I can always resolder bits if not)?
Cheers dude!
After reading the last few posts, I decided to suck on my oven, then suck on my stem.
The stem is definitely the pinch point of airflow.
Also I took the rubber lid off the unit and that hole the lid is attached into is also an air intake.
This thing is a bloody good vape. I grabbed a...
A stir and a few crumbs of fresh on top and tamped down with the hatpin marble thingy really does stretch the flavour out in a bowl.
Some strains can lose flavour after a couple of lungfuls I find, so topping them up helps.
Other strains will keep pumping flavour out with just a stir.
I...
I purchased both over the years direct from 7th floor... Both 220V versions with Uk plugs on.
Both became dust magnets on the shelf for years, until that ball upgrade for the SSV.
It would be nice to have more control over the thing and lower temps as I have to run it through water, but I'm...
My SSV is still my go to vape. The ball upgrade is worth every penny for me. I hope you like it Rodney!
But I have a question, I'm on 240V here and I cannot have the thing turned on above just clicking it on. Same for my LSV too, that thing runs way too hot for me to leave on and use.
Are...
