Yeah, ain't that the truth! One of the best things is its flexibility, how easily it can be customized. There are so many high quality accessories out there. I've got a bunch of different setups, depending on where I am and what I'm doing. If I'm going to be hanging out in my living room I...
It's good to have a backup – and I'm glad that I got mine. Although I do have this nagging fear that I'll wake up one day and find that they've released a TM3 – and, of course, I'll have to get two of those!
It does heat up faster than glass – but it cools off a lot faster as well. I just roll it between my palms and it's ready to go again in less than half a minute. (I'm using the stock cooling unit halves as well with quartz and titanium balls.)
It's one of the best aftermarket improvements out...
Well, I guess it had to happen – my new "Missile" stem from VGEZ rolled off my patio table and broke on the flagstone terrace. I loved that stem – but it's not as tragic as it seemed when I watched it hit the ground. I got to thinking that maybe I could do something with my two titanium stems...
I used to be really concerned about material falling into the heater. So after I packed my stem I'd blow into it from the oven side to settle the load. But then I thought about it some more. Nothing of any significant size is going to fall through that fine mesh heater screen and the...
I find it's really practical when using the TM upside down with a j-hook. Stirring and refilling, as well as cleaning, are (for me) much easier. But when using a straight stem I want a good seal; if for no other reason than to keep the glass tube from sliding out when the TM is held casually...
I don't think there would be any problem as the t-bowl doesn't fit as snugly as the titanium and glass stems from TM. It's made to be a little loose so you can lift the TM off the WPA easily. The seal is created by the o-ring that sits on the WPA instead of a snug fit with the o-ring in the TM...
Thanks ,I appreciate the tip – yeah, I've tried those (I think I still have a bag of twenty somewhere) but the hard-rimmed ones work best for me. They're a lot easier to change, which makes them easier to clean, and the screen is a finer mesh.
I must be doing something wrong – I start at 6.5 and finish around 9! Right from the stem. And while I have a hard time not coughing using my Terpcicle, even through a bong (wet or dry), I find that I can manage pretty well with the TM2. I think there may be a subtle learning curve which you...
I've just acquired the (long) Missile stem from VGEZ and it's perfect. Good cooling. And it's so easy to clean. At the end of every day I remove the basket screen and soak the stem in a test tube of warm water with a little Alconox. If there's any residue down by the glass screen I can just...
