My 1.0 is from brown cord days and still going medium strong. Cranked to Max is all perfect for flowers consistently, but doesn't get hot enough for dabs. Even after a few repeated hits things start to get a little lighter brown. I haven't hooked up the kill a watt but I know it was low last...
@Hogni for me it is just about cleaning. I want the ti surface for dabbing but not sure how a Ti atomizer would hold up to years of PBW whereas my SS atomizer has done just that and been fine.
Yeah that's the combo I'm hoping for, for cleaning purposes specifically. My V1 SS atomizer can be made as good as new with some PBW so want the same again...
That said PV has nothing for the new versions in stock and not responding to me emails with an ETA for more, and sublimator.ca must...
I think back about 100 pages or so Enrico (while still present) posted that a piece of denim would work well to scrape the Apollo heat while its hot without risking damage. I've used that trick a few times with great success.
He's unscrewing the base below where the atomizer would be, where the sublimate would drip to. This part is only on the big metal launchpad version, not the adapt-a.
I have an OG adapt a bong, and what I do rather than let it drip is just scrape it with a dabber and double decker from time to...
Quick update: I just got an email from PV from whom I bought my sub last June; it's been awesome since day one with no problems despite heavy use...

^ this. I usually aim to get about 1g bud into oil per dose, but I have a high tolerance. With large batches, you can always guesstimate how much you're dosing too - by dividing how many grams in vs final weight of oil/#of pills at the end, you can keep your consumption somewhat consistent.
Rice cooker would get too hot, but I can highly recommend a slow cooker for bigger batches of canna-coco oil.
My method:
1. Use a ratio of 1C coconut oil to 1oz bud/leaf trim
2. Finely grind your herb, add to slow cooker
3. Add coconut oil
4. Add 2:1 water:coconut oil
5. Turn to high for 30...
