The cracking generally only occurs when one either adds a o ring and then over tightens or when installing a new battery, and not fitting the screw's back exactly right, Just take care with any mods you employ and you'll be just fine. You made an excellent choice I love my solo first and only...

I wouldn't recommend it. The taste is beyond horrible, and the effect is much better through the vape. Eating it is probably the best way to obtain whatever goodies are leftover.

You don't need to but your stash will last longer if you do. Try it both ways see which you prefer . I play around with different grind consistency and find I prefer a med grind most times.
